Events

Hello everyone!
I've been doing some thinking lately (dangerous I know) and I was wondering what everyone's favourite (top 3) events are?
As most of my favourite events rarely occur and instead events take place that no one actually does (or 1 person does about 30 times).
So, if we can all decide on our favourite events, maybe DarkOrbit/BigPoint will see and put them on more often (we can all wish for miracles )

My top 3 are as follows:
1) Spaceball
2) Invasion Gate (when enough people are online and not at 10am)
3) Scoremagedon - good rewards and good fun (unless you find a wallet warrior)

scoremegeddon got removed didnt it? anyway my fav event was scoremegeddon but now its iceys

 

1) Scoremageddon for getting a reward from hunting (but as usual BP remove something we love about the game)

2) Crazy cubes for going to nme uppers and getting loads of kills.

3) Probably SB...

I used to like Icy but now the event is so short I don't like it any more, TDM used to be my all time FAVOURITE event (I'm talking about the old x-6 map TDM) but now not many people do it.

Sector control is a joke I don't even know why they still have it... another waste of Dev time to make that event, same with Infiltration, what he hell were they thinking when they made that one?!

If hitac counts as the sort of events you are talking about, then that would be my all-time favourite (even just the NPC without the lotto)

What we need is a Battlemap Scoremageddon, or some sort of event that attracts people to my beloved battle maps ^^

Spaceball used to be my favorite but on servers I mainly play it is incredibly boring and only 1 company turns up, even if you are the winning company it is insanely boring.

I hope ya'll that picked invasion were joking because invasion just sucks, it's completely worthless. Sector control is okay but barley anyone plays it, same with TDM. SB is a bit laggy and gets boring after awhile lol. Ref bots are probably gone and good riddance, Hitac's suck to.

Adam they put on referee when is oficial match. i think we will have them on now when world cup starts.

 

Funny how scoremageddon gets the majority vote and BP take it away

 

Hopefully it's not gone the way of the +50% galaxy gate dmg booster event and DO are just making changes to scoremageddon to make it even better.
Can't hurt to be hopeful D:

 

Or making changes to it to ruin it

If the event comes back it will probably be pay to enter and a chance of gaining points per kill

 

My favourite event is logging on ..flying around all the maps .. counting only 10 ships on the entire server and then logging straight back off so i can play something that actually is an MMOG .

 

Did they ever give a reason why it was removed in the first place????...It seemed like a good event without bugs ( that I know of) , and although the set up of the game invites pushing, my server seemed to play it fair most of the time. So why take away a popular and fun event ??

 

DO never explains anything - good or bad/give or take - just what is happening. The rest you figure it out.

I like most Special aliens at events, like...

1. Ice metroid's
2. I did like Cubikid's cause they were like cubis, but faster to kill.
3. And i would like to see sunburst lordakium again too
and other fun stuff, that was at summer 2012

That's my top 3.

And i would like Hitac, but because my loot always get's stolen, it made me dislike it.

Scoremageddon was nothing more than a pushing festival -- anytime it was on there was mmo at our base shooting the same player over and over for points and I have heard that was widespread. Plus they were running it constantly. Good riddance.

Spaceball is dominated by multicompany bully clans so no point in playing it. No rewards to speak of since the lazy dullards in the game sit at port and snipe the cargo.

Crazycubes is too laggy and hard to protect yourself from enemy when you lag so bad. But I like it.

Hitac -- i dont care about the capsules...challenging NPC in lowers but you have people (including your own company) shooting you off of it for kills or just so their company or clan can hog it

Crazy robot /Santa -- great BEFORE Bigpointless got selfish and tied it to needing soccer ammo

Icy -- also when it isnt on a weird time of day
