Captcha?

who in the right mind added captcha to the trade page ? since ur page loads so slow I over bid myself always at least a few times to make sure I get it . now I couldn't cuz I kept on getting captcha .. who the hell implemented this ...

 

What captcha bro? I don't have anything even related to captcha on my auction page. Post a screenshot bro. You should use Adblock and scan your pc for viruses and adware, also check your browser extensions.
I just went to the auction page, i bid on x2 ammo just to see if i have any captcha and nope, i have no captcha.

they implemented a captcha for those who bid a lot, this will stop the bots which actually spam bids for you.

 

lol r u really telling me this ? ad block and all of that . they do it when u bid a lot or u bid on a lot of stuff ( from what I saw) try bidding 250 mill or more on multiple things like boosters and u'll see I over bid myself 5 times on the dmg booster so I can get it that's why I got it .and viruses and adware ? its a captcha this has literly nothing to do with it .adblock again everybody has that .

That's really sneaky from the game devs, at least they could have made an official anouncement about this crap. I'll break my pc if that REMOVED shows up in the last 10 sec of an auction.

 

lol that's what I said .and that's what happened to me in the last 7 sec ... they changed the text thing a bit also

 

It's to stop bidding programs putting in a perfect bid 1 second before the time ends, the idea is that a bidding program would do a sweep of items and so this stop it.
For all the effort people put into complaining about cheats, they sure like to complain even more when DO do something to stop them.

 

ok . do it for them ? but when I bid on something in the last 10 sec it never registers for that hour . its just plain annoying. I get it if u bid on multiple items at once ,but if u only bid ,or outbid yourself .this should not even be doing this

 

Fine, make an idea to remove it but make sure you include in your idea a new feasible way to stop mass bidding programs.
Or just bid a little earlier and enter the captcha when you want the bid to go through.

 

I think that this might be a temporary solution until they find a new way of stopping or detecting them, just like the bonus box captcha. I hope that when they will be able to detect those programs, they remove the auction feature for those players.

 

I'm sure players complain when DO tries to stop cheats because they always do it the wrong way, they have a pretty bad track record.

 

I already said they should only do it if you bid on multiple items at once .that's it not if u bid on one item. and i u bid,at least on my server , in the last 20 seconds . u have a high chance of Not getting it .

 

Somebody needs a new computer.

DO needs to bring back the test server. Test then implement.

Ah well there's your problem, you need 32GB ram and dual sli titans, then the captchas will go away

 

That's a lie, If you have an old enough pc the game will put the old client :3
