They seem to be selecting the ones that are being actively abused.
They probably prioritize them because the DO community voices there hate for cheating so much so they want to get rid of the cheating bugs before fixing small things like a diplomacy CPU ...

People are going to find things to cry about no matter the update.

  3. diplomacy cpu is not small thing it is very important item in this game, i have to spend money to replace that small thing.

When compared to people cheating to get infinite seprom who can then use it to make uridium faster and be out killing people more often, diplomacy cpu is small.

But then you don't want DO to fix the seprom bug so I can see why you are so desperate for them to switch focus to diplomacy chip instead ...

  5. lol i was just making comparison. some things are older than seprom issue, but they never focus on them because those things bring more cash in their pockets, and obviously seprom issue don't.

  6. google did not help with that.

  7. LOlL if infinite seprom was possible EVERYONE would be using it

  8. it's not infinite. it cost 2500 uri, you have to send from skylab and back in skylab, and it is not so easy to do, i menaged to send 3 times and them i make a mistake and lost 9k seprom. infinite my ass.

  9. If you have to remove something from a game to fix a problem, then you are not doing things right. While I understand that this would fix the issue, it also produces more problems that it would fix.

    For example:

    • You say you'll be increasing the amount of starting resources required to build the Skylab, but what if a new player were to accidentally send those resources to their Ship? How would they then be able to start construction of their Skylab?
    • Also, I am aware that there are players that like to send over some Xenomit to their Skylab so that if they were to accidentally use it all up on their Ship, they still have some in reserve.
    • Another issue is, what if I were to accidentally send over 9,000 Seprom instead of Promerium? I would be left with Seprom on my Ship that I didn't want and couldn't send back.
Do you see how this is a bad solution? In fact, I wouldn't consider it a solution at all. Just a short-cut way of solving an issue that's been around for far too long.

Ranting aside, I think I may have a solution of my own, that is, if you'd care to hear it. I'll just cut to the chase:

Instead of having the option to send from your Ship to the Skylab on the backpage, move it to the spacemap of the game - more specifically, move it to the Resources window. I am aware how this bug works, and if the Developers too are aware, then they'll know how to implement this idea to stop this bug being abused.

I don't want to sound arrogant, but I do think my solution is a better one than "oh, this thing is broken so let's get rid of it". Please take my suggestion on-board.

    Thanks.

  10. The bug wasn't a bug really. It costs so much only the most insane would even consider it.

  11. It costs uri to reset your PP, anyways. It adds up when you do it repeatedly.

  12. In relation to KrisKelvin hinting towards some new stuff coming in summer;

What I personally hope this is:
    • New PVP events to breath life into the servers
    • New group gates (similar to hades)
    • Tweaks to the Low gate some people don't just sit in that gate 24/7 due to the high amounts of uridium you can get out of it
What I really don't want this to be:
    • Introducing the new upgrades for Lasers and Drones! We have added an extra 75 levels for you to upgrade! You can do all of this now for only 10,000,000 Uridium! Yes, only ten million! This is a massive saving of 400%! Buy now!
    • Introducing 10 new drones! You can buy each part for only 100,000 uridium! You only need to construct 100 parts for each drone! Buy now to stay one step ahead of your co-pilots and 10 steps behind on your mortgage!

  13. Funny Guy, i guess you have an Major and you don't care about Ranking. Did you ever see an TOP Player with Seprom Bug shooting Gates? Combinated with Uri Bug?

Funny Guy. They do your 1,5 million Rankpoints in 2 Honor Events. But the Bug is no Problem at all.

Fixing the Bug? Ok, i can understand the Way how you wanna do it. Even though the Option is rarely used, it could be used for building your Pilot Sheet quite good. I don't care about that at all, delete that Option.

But please, be so kind and throw out some Punishments. Thanks.

You know its a real simple fix just make it to where anything you send to your lab has to go by a time table instead of instant send / problem solved

Really shouldn't be too hard to do.

Can't use Seprom in Skylab for anything. It would fill storage to the limit of whatever level the player had, then it's full. To use it on the ship, would either take time or cost Uridium to ship it fast. I don't bother trying to store Sep on the Skylab, but I do keep a lot of Sep on Lasers and Rockets (shipped from Skylab to ship).
To remove a Ship to Skylab function would however prevent me from sending the occasional Xenomit amount to Skylab to top off the Xenomit storage.

how r new players suppose to start their skylab ? and if I send sep by accident instead of premium . what am I gonna do then ? do u guys never think things through ? is it a habbit of urs or what?

  18. They plan on increasing the starting prometium and duranium and terbium so new players can start their skylab more easily. If you send seprom by accident, you'd have to send it back which would take long either way. Just avoid making a mistake. Sep your shields or rockets with the extra seprom if you need to.

Most obvious solution is to start all skylabs with at least lvl 1 collectors. No messing about then.

Much like this Forum...Skylab looks nice...people seem to use it... but.. IT MAKES NO SENSE. What is it? What is it for? How do you actually use it. Valid for both the game and the forum. It is not usable if it is not properly labeled/translated. This is from someone who has been computing since ATARI 300 baud. Why should I even try to use something that is so UNCLEAR?
