bought nostromo

so i just started this game idk.. 2 hours ago, was pretty excited hit 100k looked at ships, said NO im gonna save for nostromo, finally got the credits bought the ship, went to unequip the old one, just in case, went back to try to use nostromo, and alas, the ship has disappeared, at this point im pretty pissed and probably not gonna touch this game unless i can fix it... nothing i hate more then losing 2 hours of my life, please help... anyone

 

Have you alloacted it? To alloact it go to hanger page > look towards the bottom of the page it should say alloact in orange > click it.

after u solve ur problem ... save money and go for vengeange (from auction)
let nostromo leave in peace

• get venge
• get 10 good engines for it (with 2000 uri each)

and that is a good start point

You're correct. Best not to get a goli at this point since you need to be able to run from enemies, which is something hard to do in a goli.

 

To be honest, unless you've very high Shield, running won't do you any good. The Vengeance is just too squishy to be able to get away in time. If you're just going to die anyway, then you might as well just get a more practical Ship; A Goliath or Aegis.

 

Not a goli right now, no. And what noob gets an Aegis so fast??

 

The Goliath, Vengeance and Aegis are all sough after targets in many quests, any new player is far better off in the Nostromo to start, then moving up to the Leo. At least the Leo gets a bonus in the lower home maps and allows a new player to grind through quests whilst building up much needed stocks of shields, generators, drones and CPUs.

the ONLY hope to survive out there (as a new player using only the credits u have from skylab) is venge full flax full BO1 all from auction
u beleive u will manage to make missions after lvl8 will a nostromo ? ,,, yeah sure

 

If you change to leonov you'll change then to spearhead. You can bid it in auctionhouse for million credits. That ship is good because you're fast everytime and you have a skill which can camouflages you.

 

as mentioned your next ship should be a leo. u can 1 at auction pretty cheap sometimes maybe even under 100000
2x lasers and missles you'll love it

 

Leonov is the best ship to have while you are playing in the lowers. Once you finish your quests in the lower maps and want to go to the uppers, then you will need a vengeance for small upper aliens like sibelonites and kristallins, you can also kill lordakiums and kristallons with this ship but it will take a lot longer than it will with a goli. With the vengeance you could farm Boss StreuneRs on your x-8 map as they give 32 uri (4 of them give as much uri as a kristallon) and are fairly easy to kill for a newbie player that has started to get around in the game and has a small but good damage (1.5-2k). Try to team up with players your level and help eachother, or if you find a strong player to help you, then that's even better. Be on the lookout for events like ice meteoroids because the give big rewards for just a couple shots, let strong players shoot first and take the damage and you shoot along with them, they won't be bothered to kill you if they see you're a newbie. Strictlyfate was asking a question about the mechanics of using the hanger and allocating the ships so you can use them. NOT about what ship to buy next (TIP.. Do not buy a Bigboy ).
