    I need 1 part for a gate and if i use a multiplier and the multiplier hits the part will i then get no part?

    There is a chance u can get part from a multiplier

    If you hit the part with active multiplier, you will definitely get the last part and finish the gate. The excessive parts produced, depending on the multiplier, are "recycled" and converted into ammo... if I'm not mistaken.

    This is the correct answer. If you spin and get a gate part you already have you will be given a multiplier. If you use the multiplier and get a gate part you are guaranteed to be given a gate part that you dont already have. If that is the last part you need it will complete your gate.
