GB1 Cheats

When are you going to do anything about the blatant cheating going on in GB1? certain clans are populated by members who are using auto locks, can log out when under fire, never lose lock when you emp and seem to be impervious to return fire!!
This game is losing players every day and still the same names with the same toys are allowed to thrive, is it because they buy URI on happy hour that DO allows them to continue?

They are not. A good start would be remove chance in the game so everyone could get stronger. then the honest players could start policing the game like we did in the past. It is so hard to build a ship now, so we can not group up and mount a challenge to them. In the past the cheats would quit playing after getting popped multiple times. They do not have fun getting popped.

Since the few honest players left are either building ships still after 3 years or to few UFE players to actually make a difference the hackers run free. It really should not be that hard to let CM's make a list of the names that get called out in chat. These player might not be cheaters but it would be a starting point for investigating external programs and bug users.

Fully agree, been playing for over 3 years, level 20 nowhere near UFE as not putting any more money into this game, really does come to something when the scripts are run to catch the cheats but you never see them on until the scripts have finished, insider knowledge?

 

Omg are you for real hahaha you never herd of the 3 stage system ? You never herd of botter's losing all upgrades and pp ,you never herd of the if you are found using any cheats you lose your account for good and you say bigpoint is not doing anything about it pull you're head out of the sand and stop crying there will always be cheats in the game same with all games

and EMPS are not 100% so don't be thinking they are

 

They will never ever do something against it. Stop playing this scrum and play no game from Bigpoint instead of it.

 

3 stage system isnt working, if it was then you would see half the players on GB1 suddenly not be on-line any more

 

3 stage system doesn't exist any more, it's been gone a long time. People caught get deleted first time now.

Have you ever considered they are not cheating and you have high latency?

 

first off the 3 stage system was replaced with a 1 time system over a year ago, 2nd off there were a load of botters that lost their accounts only to show up a few months later with all their ill-gotten equipment still in place(hmm did those players give $$$$ to BP to get them back? you bet they did!), and with all the uri they had illegally botted and credits that were on those accounts getting their PP back was a cake walk and was done in a week due to skylab sep being slow even at level 20. Bigpoint is all about the $$$$ has been for years, building ships nowadays as a free player is not happening due to the fact that most will not fork out $$$ to BP to start a ship, bot and get it busted. Just look at the maps, there are not that many players flying around anymore with newer ships, most are UFE that have been here for years!

 

Agreed, look at a certain clan in GB1 we all know which one and most of the players run cheats, auto lock, instant rep etc, DO/BP wont ban them as they spend every happy hour and DO/BP needs this money to survive, much better when it was URI Wars!!

You know they were never even able to catch a single bot on uri wars right? Facebook rules prevented them from running scripts to stop them at all.
Be careful what you wish for, the game is almost bot free right now. Much more than can be said about it a couple of years ago.

 

Too late now I think, over time I have spent a good few £k on here and tbh it used to be reasonable value for money compared to other hobbies & pass times considering the money spent hour for hour compared to say golf or even fishing etc.

Because of cheating trolls I intend to move to another game that is Not pay to win and will actually do something about cheats regardless of how much they spend, indeed I have already spent over $500 on another game already that isn't even developed yet which is crowd funded with no greedy shareholders or publisher.

While ever cheats continue I will not spend on DO even for premium, I can however send constant war to cheaters which I have just begun until the aforesaid game/s are released. You know who you are. 6 months of war minimum as promised begins today. Maybe longer should I feel so inclined, I don't care if I pop or am harassed by these people but I will war you and may continue to do so for the next 18 months should I feel so inclined. Remember we reap what we sow and and nothing is more dangerous than a man with nothing to lose.

Yes, because NO bugs ever existed whilst the bots were around.

It's not like upgrades were bugged for about 6 months letting people hit over 100k on x4.
Shield stacking definitely didn't exist to allow 5,000,000 battle shields on each config with citadels.

Definitely NO bugs existed before lol.

 

You know what i mean Owning, i don't mean that kind of Bugs. I mean Bugs like Seprom, Uri, Credit Bugs. The Example you just wrote here wasn't avoidable for Players.

 

To be fair the payment bugs must have been there all along but people are only now using them.

There is no correlation between the amount of bots in the game and the amount of glitches. The only difference is people are more desperate to use glitches since they no longer have bots to support their accounts for them.
Plus now that glitches only seem to get people a 7 day suspension they are happier to risk using them.

Currently there is a one stage system, if you get caught cheating your account is closed, and there is no getting it back. Fighting against people using illegal programs is an ongoing battle, but we have made a lot of progress over the past year, with more to come. This is a detailed game, and some bugs do present themselves as it continues to evolve. If you see something, let us know here or send it to support and it will be looked into. Some do take longer then others to sort, but we are currently working to make this process more efficient in the hopes you will notice fewer bugs overall within the game.

I am closing this as it has been gone over a number of times, and to prevent further issues with this subject.
