New Warp Gates Updated..

  1. This is the new warp gates idea I came up with awhile ago. I decided to do a re-edit on the post and update the concept. Warp Gates are group gate missions that will cost 5k uri to prepare each jump. When all group members have the gate jump prepared - everyone can go into the gate and complete for added rewards.. 20k uri and up for each gate, experience, honor and new ship designs, chances for booty keys, lf 4 lasers and drone designs. The difference than the regular galaxy gates is that these are all group missions with very little cost and great rewards. Also the gate location is re-worked too. You simply go to the old low gate location upon having each jump prepared![​IMG]

  2. Ah...interesting...more gates around the LoW gate. Might also be in the vincinity of the High Score Gate.

    About the goli pictured - Get rid the the orange toy gun paint job on the guns, Thanks. Use black paint :cool:

    The position of the Warp gate Tab really messes things up

    I think he's trying to keep the symmetrical layout of the Tabs consistent. So, as you have stated TimeforChange, it should go above start.

    Or a side menu from the galaxy gate page. Needless to say they will introduce more pages in the future so it wouldn't hurt to add this to either side for the time being.

    Nice idea, looks interesting.

  11. Yeah it could be done similar to the hangar,overview, equipment page.

    Except it will be like GalaxyGates, WarpGates.

  12. I also want to do a few new ideas on the star system. I think there should be 3 or 4 star systems to go to. A couple of them are just aliens you kill without having to worry about enemies, because they are demilitarized maps... non pvp - meaning the coding only allows for locking onto aliens.
     
  13. That would be a large bit of server usage tho...I don`t see any need for more than 2 star systems.And the second star system would only be to have more items and stuff and allow newbie to continue building up without worrying about something above ufe class.

    i like the idea of a non pvp map that everyone can get the same rewards in. it will be good for players to have somewhere to go and only have to worry about popping npcs. i do however see an issue of the becoming a safe haven for players and a beginning to a end of pvp.
    1. adding a pvp option per player that will allow the player to gain a considerable more rewards in the maps if they opt in to it with a time constraint as to when they can opt in and out.

    2. this would be an option in the settings tab in the same area as the auto refine and auto purchase of booty keys are found.

    3. this would allow high risk for greater rewards.

    4. you will be able to lock onto players that opt in/check the box and of course players that do not opt in you wont be able to lock on.

    5. players would be opted in by default upon log in and the system would display a message for newbies regarding the option like every time you enter the low gate.

    6. players would have to opt out every time you logged in like joining an outfit you have to manually send or accept an invite to be apart of it.

    7. once in combat the setting can not be changed until the combat encounter is over.
