Inactive clan members

Do inactive clan members affect clan rating .
Or the better question would be , would dismissing all the inactive players affect or change my clan rating?

 

If you have members in your clan that do not play, then your clan ranking will indeed drop once these members are moved to the bottom of the list of members once their accounts are deemed inactive & will be indicated as such by a star *.

Before you think about kicking someone that is inactive remember to send them a message and wait a few weeks because they may have some personal problems.

 

I just sent a "all members " message to see if I get any responses.
But , most of the players that are inactive , have been inactive for months and I was wondering what to do . However will dismissing them improve , decrease or not affect rating?

 

Dismissing a member with a * at end of name will make no difference as the points they have are not counted once they have gone inactive, ie. have a * at end of name due to not logging for 4 weeks.

 

TY I am aware of * and what it means and I appreciate your reply. At this point I will wait a couple of days for any responses from my members. Post seems to have been answered adequately but any opinions are considered . DO may close at your discretion

 

You have nothing to lose by keeping the inactives in your clan unless you are at the 50 member limit and need the space. If the members are inactive with a * then it's unlikely that they will see any message you send.

If you do need the space then you can always send a mail to them explaining they were kicked because of inactive but in my experience most members figure this out if they do come back to the game and will often send an application to join back.

 

if a clan member goes inactive all it does is make it so you lose whatever rank points they have toward your clan. That's all.
