Pilot Point Skills

I need clarification on certain pilot point skills. I couldn't find it in FAQ

1. Does evasive maneuvers affect NPCs? (decreasing* the hit chance of NPC?)

2. Does Rocket Fusion affect all rockets? (i.e. Rocket Launcher & Normal Rocket)

I think it effects NPC too, however not 100% sure.

Only regular rockets, doesn't effect any of the ones that need to hellstorm launcher.

Pet pev for years now....difference between rockets and missiles ( in game not real life).....The game seems to interchange the language, and it gets confusing for reasons exactly like this

 

1: npc hit 100% of the time, they never miss, evasive maneuvers only for pvp

2: rocket fusion does not affect hellstorms

 

rocket fusion doesn't effect hellstroms but you do still miss with normal rockets miss only thing that will make normal rockets hit 100 percent of the time is targeter. sorry miss read npcs will miss just doesn't show a miss

 

NPC do miss attacks, however the word "MISS" doesn't appear like it does for ships. There will just be a pause in the damage numbers.

A: Effect only normal rockets.

I would just like to add that Laser optics in Bio affects the % you hit aliens as well as players, and it does show when you miss them, since we are on this kind of topic.

 

Yes, it shows when you miss the NPC but the word "MISS" does not appear when the NPC misses your ship, which is what evasive manoeuvres effects, hence why someone thought NPC can't miss attacks.

 

Yeah, not trying to muddy the issue, just thought they were related topics
