SOO the issues was a Mega happy hour and a regular happy hour at the same time making the uri you get 4 to 5 times more so anyone agree with me that BP has finally managed t cheat them selves :d

I very much doubt they are gutted either.

As for the post by ψβΙδ☣ΗαΖαRDψ, do you seriously believe BP actually cheated themselves. Uridium is a virtual game currency that has no value in the real world. Furthermore, if BP were to release the figures of people who actually bought uridium during on this occasion (as opposed to other occasions), then it is more than probable that more people would have purchased uridium.

As this is most likely the case, then it is pretty safe to say that BP were actually winners as in all likelihood, they generated more revenue!!

 

Probably affected very small number of users

Lol they did cheat them selves. They gave out more uri than they were supposed to which its a product weather its actual currency or not they are still selling it even if they can make an infinite amount.

The whole game is technically virtual so by your standards it would not worth anything anyhow yet game companies still buy game servers and copyrights from other companies. Look at Battle Field 4, what would happen if they accidentally sold all the PC version copies (Infinite copies) for 12$ Instead of 40$ they would loose money.

So your logic is flawed and you do not see to understand the economics of games.

 

The thing is that they are not selling copies or actual items such as PC version copies of BattleField 4!!

You join DO free & you choose if you wish to purchase uridium.

Players had the option of buying uridium & getting 5 times the amount & not 3 times the amount.

I daresay there will be players who will have bought more uridium than they would have normally done because they were getting more than normal. There will also be players who will have bought uridium, who probably would not have bought it, when they heard they would times the amount instead of 3 times the amount.

There are no economics involved here - it is not a case of supply & demand nor a case of selling a certain amount. It is neither a case of getting the same uridium for a lower amount than normal.

Let's say you was to go out in the real world & sell an item & you offered 3 PRINTS for the price of 1 & ended up selling "X" amount. If you had decided to sell 5 PRINTS for the price of 1 & had an unlimited supply & it did not cost you anything more for the extra prints, then the most likely situation is that you would have sold"X+Y" amount.

BP & DO pay the same amount for the use of a server on a regular basis irrespective of the number of players who play that server & what these players spend on it. So, when it comes to a situation where players are getting more than they normally would, they will jump at the chance.

If you was to send 1,000 emails instantly, it would not cost you any more than sending 100 emails instantly.

On this basis, your reply would have been justifiable had we been dealing with actual economics & the real world & not something that is virtual.

 

Usually when companies lose money they keep quiet, for fear of customers losing faith. What if it was the other way around? Maybe some gullibles will think it may happen again?..The idea is get everyplayer, EVERY player!! on the same level...The profit margin will flow...Then New players will be able to put up a good fight and everyone will be happy..Remember UBFE aint much without prem, boosters, RSB, gates...I do believe it takes 10years for a new free player to reach 'ufe' status. Unless you have a fat wallet.

In the current situation, how can anyone enjoy this game, I do not know...

In the meantime, I would like to point out that chat rules have added to the killing of this game...Do not know anything like it.

 

They didn't really cheat themselves they just accidentally sold uri for the price it should be instead of the joke it is now lol
