    I think you might have to explain your issue a bit clearer.

    "why shoot laser short when i hunt enemy ship not grindcore ?" - that doesn't make any sense.

    I presume that you're at basic FE level (with full G3N-7900 speed generators) and that you haven't added any promerium to your engines. Promerium is produced in the Skylab, and it is dropped by some aliens as cargo when you kill them. If applied, it can increase your firepower by 30%, and increase your shield/engine performance by 20% (make your ship faster). Click here to read the Refining/Upgrading FAQ, it shows you how to add Promerium and other ore to your lasers, shields and engines.

    In terms of making your lasers shoot over a longer distance, there is no extras to make this happen. The closest thing to it is the Targeting Guidance CPU's that can decrease the chance of your lasers missing the target by 25% and 50% (Targeting Guidance CPU 1 = 25%, Targeting Guidance CPU 2 = 50%). This can help with those last few shots that you need to hit when they are running away!

    Adding Promerium to your engines is the priority however, as what you're probably experiencing is other users who have Promerium added to their engines keep managing to give you the slip!
    Alternatively, you may not have the best Engines (G3N-7900 - found on Shop -> Generators, or in the Auction), therefore you would need to buy them if you want to have any chance of getting away/catching up.

    These engines and promerium go hand in hand, you won't find many users who aren't "prommed"!

    Hope this helps.

    Thank you Fralto for providing information to help this user.

    Can i ask whether you do actually have the ammunition that you are trying to shoot. Not all ammunition is available to purchase in the shop, or is not available at all times. To look at the different ammunition available and how to purchase, then please take a look at the FAQ below;

    >>AMMO - Laser Ammo<<

    Each ammunition does not have a specific distance that it can be shot. You can see the distance that lasers can be shot when you try shooting something off your screen you will get a small red boundary appear.
