Domination Event;

"The winning faction will get a 10% bonus on bonus boxes. All factions will get a 1% bonus on honor and XP for every 1,300 domination points they gathered throughout the event but 15% at max. Bonus will come into effect at 17 August 2014, 00:01 h and end at 23 August 2014 at 23:59 h."

It's now the 20th August and all we've had on GB1 is 1 hour of 10% extra uridium in bonus boxes! It was bad enough that the 10% was only factored in to the original amount when using a box doubler, ie a 30 uri box doubled to 60 would only yield 63 uridium, but after an hour the bonus switched to boxes containing credits only before the bonus disappeared completely a couple of hours later. So a promise of 10 days of 10% extra in boxes has actually turned out to be 1 hour. And you wonder why people have left the game in droves?

I have a box doubler and spend a lot of time boxing, so far, according to the rewards promised by Bigpoint, I reckon I'm owed about 30k uri which is much less than I spent on ammo trying to win this Domination event. A lot of us worked hard and yes, had fun, defending and attacking the beacons to win this event. The battle maps were busy and there were big battles like the good old days, it seems a little short sighted to take the shine off by not coming through on your end and providing the promised rewards.

And while we're on the subject, can you tell me how a box doubler turns 2 galaxy gate energy in to 3!? Whoever does the maths at Bigpoint either lied on their CV or is drinking heavily on the job.

 

it basically doubles the normal 1 spin to 2, then the bmps give an extra 50% which is an extra 1, totalling 3 spins

 

Aha, I shoulda just stuck with the original complaint then I guess, thanks for the info.

I know there have been TWO other threads about this, both were addressed by Mods to be investigated, and the threads were closed...I thank those mods for acknowledging the previous threads...but......
