Server Battles

Our clan wanted to propose an Idea of Server battles. Players would vote on the 50 or so best Fighters of the Servers. Those with the most votes would be chosen to be the "Champions" of that server. After they are chosen the champions would fight other champions of different servers going all the way till semi finals and the final battles

I know logistics and sever times would be a major issue but maybe it can be worked around.

 

Interesting idea, but that wont happen cuz theyr too lazy and that wont pay them with money for that much work ...

 

Well, would need a good amount of rewards for that. And, I'm not proud to say but, our servers have a lot of cheating ranked players. Cheats, such as lagging your game while you're in VS combat, so you can't switch to RSB, or EMP, or use ISH and etc. So, if this idea were to come true, would need some serious cleaning of cheaters and buggers.

 

Finally, someone who appreciates a great battle. I am so for this. I could care less about rewards. Im sick of hearing on forums who is better than who. Let your lasers and skills prove it. I know that the only thing so far that allows different server players to battle is the jackpot arena, but thats all. I would welcome this chance to battle some of the best in the game. I think it will make for a great time. I think more and more players will want to play and get better just to try themselves against someone else not in their server. Good idea Bio

 

yes its a good idea, apart for the voting of 50 players, there should be a single server tournament first and top 20 or so proceed to server battle.

 

This has been suggested before aka by me Just merge the two servers on to a Jackpot-like maps. You can battle the other two companies at will. The mods do this so I don't see the problem, but to just the best 50 is not right. Make server vs. server.

 

I think the 50 best is the right choice, after all it is a battle, and ifyou want to win, you have to get your best, although a server vs server is good as well.

 

Nah would be better if the 50 best pilots from each server were chosen from a recruiting stage that each player for that server could compete in.Like try outs for a team.

who would choose these 50 players? so on GE1 we will have Ars against the rest as they have support members etc, think people use the little brains you have. if it is a tournament then it must be started as a tournament, knock out stages is the fairest, but we going on as if this would actually happen

apparently you my friend seem to know everything lol, The reason for this post from the player is to get opinions to work it through, not everything is thought out, thats why its an idea. I think it should be a recruiting thing, where you have to complete stages in things such as pvps, gates, and quests. Or it can be a thing were players can put their names for vote, or top 50 ranknig players in a server. The nerve of you mr boss killer, you are just a forum apprentice, you do not speak, you only read lmao Just kidding

my point - if you bothered to read all my posts - if this were to be implemented there must be a fair system, that's it.
NOT voting this is not fair, as big clans will vote for themselves and their players.
AND yes I do know my fair share, I have been here since 2008, I have seen a few ideas and changes.........

 

I was saying peple int he company could vote these player and a minimun require ment would needed to be meet for them to vote, also you caant tell who voted.

 

Also the reason why I did not want the to 20* Players is because a lot of them might not actually be good at pvp

 

rewards mate, this is supposed to be pvp game and pvp part is only waste of everything we have. ill rather stay on my 1-6 map and shoot cubes all day long and fight those who come to shoot me than go to that big fight and waste all my ammo and boosters for nothing. who care if i am the best or if you are.
i am for this idea but only if rewards are big and if we get back what we spend or at least half of what we put in to it. i am tired of shooting npcs like idiot to replace all the ammo that are required for fights.
btw ψβΙδ☣ΗαΖαRDψ 50 ships is to much. idk what kind of pc you have but mine pc(browser) crush if there are more than 20 ships on screen lol so that many ships dont sound good to me xD

 

: LOL i get what ya mean, i want rewards too but I love a good fight so the rewards to me wont entice me as much. BUt it would be nice to have it, and yeh maybe 50 is too much, maybe like 10 for each server

 

what I see:
there could be a server challenge to determine the 10 or 20 top players,
there could be a system where you could challenge participating players, you can only challenge 1 player for 1 fight. (so there is no pushing), you need a minimum of 10 challenges to qualify for the top places. there can be a auto select program to ensure that there are challengers, etc then those players move to the server battle. for those that are serious there will be someone to go up against.
we need more pvp battles. this whole selection process can run for a month or so and the tournament the next month, and this gets done 6 times a year, I think it will bring more players back for a challenge.
The reason I am against the voting system:
this is a PVP game and you need to fight to get somewhere, you want to advance or participate then challenge someone,
I cant see how the voting system will get the best fighters, there are people that play solo, that very few people know, how is it fair on them, they could be the best fighters, they just don't make it known.

anyway, just some food for thought.

 

From the 50 it would not be a battle royal but it would be sort of 4 on4 teammatches till last 10 or so ships then it goes to 1on1 comp till a server wins, idk lets so what we can think off xD
