Overall website is slow.

Backpage + Game client loads really slow since 2-3 days.. it's not my browser cache or anything so please don't suggest that.. I've heard the same issue from more people from various countries aswell so it's a problem on server end.. how long till this gets fixed?..

2 days i cannot enter game client and my prem, rebate xl, also doubler is wasted bcause of this so do something about this

 

Hi i have the same problem i'm playing on french server

and i can't play ... !! hope this problem fixed as soon as possible

 

10+ refreshes and still no minimap lol

Also, game won't load in high detail ships.

OK so you cleared all your junk. Did you infact go to the flash player site and clear the junk there. or did you just clear the stuff threw browser options. If not this could be your issue. Right click on game map select global setting then on left select website storage setting and hit the delete all tab close and reboot. Also did you delete the saved java files to do this click start menu - control panel- java - settings - delete files reboot. Also there was a java update last week if your auto update is off you need to update! I know you dont want to hear this but this is 1 of 2 things your pc or your isp. This is not something the servers control. If on wifi change the channel of your wireless router to 1 or 11 to avoid noise from other things like baby monitors, microwaves, cordless phones and cellphone. These and many more things run on the same channel and signal As the defaut channel on wifi routers.

Could you please give this a try:

Log out of the game... go to
your browser and clear the history (I know you have done this before) - Please humor me!

Then go to the flash player - here is a link>

delete All the websites in the Website Storage setting Panel.

Then re-log in to the Game, Hopefully this will resolve your issue.

That does not help Astraea.. It's a problem from your server end.. If it had anything to do with my pc, not a ton of players would be facing the same issue all together at the same time..

It seems that game is at its worse when you either are or try to jump in 4.4
4.1/4.2/4.3 are bad but 4.4 is another story

mini map doesn't load until minute after you jump,i'm getting all kinds of weird messages on backpage about some or other script being unable to load

Java/Flash/all drivers and browser are up to date so it is 100 % game side

 

Well if you have done as advised i would say you need to run a speed test and a ping test if you are below 1. on the upload there is your issue. This is not a server issue. I know its easy to say its not your pc and all I was there once. Most ppl want to put it off by saying the speeds are fine but are they? We cant see the provider, what kind of set up or anything your running. speedtest.net and pingtest.net are good test sites. keep a screen shot of tests and let us know the info. Also pls let us know are you wifi wired cable dsl and so on.

 

3 browsers, 5 servers, Germany 1 and all USA. Did all the clearing and updates. Used to run so well before the last event. I gave up on even trying during Domination. I knew from Influence that it was a waste of time. Going to do it one last time but really frustrated now.

 

Well ... maybe a big update coming. They said Domination will stay as a normal event like TDM , SC.

 

Like I said several times.. It's not a problem on my end.. or all those people who just replied in this thread wouldn't have been complaining about the same thing zz..

 

With out going into great detail could you tell us you isp. After hours of digging i have found alot of ppl on other forums of other games are having this same issue even youtube ,and netflix, google. What i have found is 3 out of 4 reporting this issue are a time warner customer. All of which are unlimited, But throttled to slow down certain types of traffic. If your isp is seeing high rates of use they my think your doing something like d/l movies and what not. Next step is to see if your isp is doing this.

I know when i had twc i would get a message every few days asking if i was d/ling movies when all i was doing was watching hulu and playing do for hours. then out of the blue do stoped working but worked fine at the next doors house. THis told me it was my gear or my provider till it started doing the same while using there wifi. That told me it was in fact twc and not me gear i changed isp,s and all good now

 

m8 i know what im talking about.. and you're not really helping here.. all other websites run fine for me except for darkorbit and it's usually at the night time when the game server is really really slow at responding.. i have done all steps needed.. its a server end problem so stop rubbing it in.. i know what im saying..

 

well then buddy good luck to ya. If you have done every thing as advised im sure your last hope is contacting support.

Also if someone trying to help you out is a problem dont post your issues on the forum. We are all here to help one another ,and bad attitudes dont help. And if this was a server issue every player would be having the same issue not just a few ppl. Hope you find your fix and get back to playing!

 

getting really frustrated with this issue now!!!! this whole week has been a disaster!!!!
there is a big problem with the servers.

 

Read up the post.. do I look like the only person facing this issue?..
