Upgrading items at 100%

Recently I've noticed that when you upgrade your equipment it takes a while to upgrade itself.
This is fine... however, what about when you upgrade it at 100%? You shouldn't need to wait all this time if there is no chance of you not being able to upgrade the item...
This whole issue is stupid and needs to be removed... if you upgrade it at 100% you spend your credits or uridium and receive it straight away.
Why does it need to be removed? It wastes so much time if you want this item upgraded for a certain time or event, you have to wait ages... especially for higher level items. Also, this is a serious issue on upgrade hour... with such a short amount of time for the upgrade

So all in all, can the items being upgraded at 100% be given to the user straight away as all it does is waste time

 

30% plus 25% off is the max you can get.

He was talking about the amount of time it takes for the progress bar to reach to 100% when you initiate the upgrading process.

 

If u want breakfast and u pay for it u will get it too on 100%, but not instantly , thats same with upgrading something ...

 

No it's not the same at all lol.

Breakfast is breakfast. Upgrading is something DarkOrbit can change at will since they made it. It has no relation to ordering food what so ever, you can't order food for 50% of the price and have half a change of it arriving, one of the weirdest analogies I've every heard x)

 

But it does make sense that it takes time to upgrade.
You're making something STRONGER, or at least attempting to, regardless of the chance.

 

Tbh i fully agree with that point but with that being logical and realistic thinking, i still believe it would be more efficient for everyone if this was removed from the game... we'd have more time= more uri to spend= more players without uri= players desperate for uri= players resorting to buying uri... we win by getting more upgrades bp win by getting more money and the economy wins as we're spending but obviously there is a little bit of a loss for the players who pay xD

 

If they made it so you could upgrade gear instantly, would people be able to level up everything within the upgrade hour? The reason I ask is I would hate for those wallet warriors that only need upgrade to be fully UFE to have the ability to get stronger overnight

I kinda dont think it should be sped up. If you are making something stronger, then logically it would take longer. SPeeding it up will just make it way to easy for folks to abuse it when its upgrade hour. ANd whats with the "making the game easier" stuff, I noticed alot more posts lately that are requesting things to be easier or "efficient". The game isnt meant to be easy, its meant to take time and drag lol. Yes it would be nice if everyone could be ufe or upgrade quickly, but that takes away from the process of it. Plus, do you know how many players who have committed through the years to the pain staking process of waiting for upgrade to complete, would be upset. I just dont agree on this either.

 

well yes they would be able as long as they have the uri and sorry to say but i'm pretty sure bp would prefer to keep "those wallet warriors" happier than you and if that means letting them buy loadsa uridium then blow it all in upgrade hour as they would make more money

 

It's not abusing the upgrade hour. Its there for a reason and we should use it to upgrade things... upgrade the maximum things possible in the hour.

And yes you have noticed this because people have become tired of the tedious nature of bp's darkorbit... So now we want a change... things cant stay the same forever especially when they can change for the better and if it grants darkorbit more money and for us its more convenient, why not?

Also your last bit about "how many players who have committed" i do not care about that point whatsoever because i had to save up uri for my aegis and my spearhead and they went and put them in trade as long as others with their skill designs. so that point is completely invalid, sorry

 

very well, but no, nothing should be handed over to anyone. Earn it and thats all, ease up on the rarity of things yes. BUt dont do it to the point that it just becomes something regular, because once you allow too many players to be even, something new will then occur to seperate the pack

 

Well, the player base right now is massively uneven. Yeah, we have to try to make the gap between free-to-play and WW narrower, but not too narrow, because then it's no fun! This idea would simply increase the gap cause WW would be the ones with enough uri to upgrade all their stuff to max level in a few hours.

 

Totally agree with your point... its a easy fix on the developers side. Just add a button for those of us who want an instant 100% upgrade without the wait.
