  1. It seems to me when a player is newer on a server there is more chance of designs LF-4s or 50 cloaks. I pulled 40 keys and got 1 Zeus part 1 LF-4 the last time.
    I tried 20 of the Blue keys on GA2 and got one Spearhead the rest ammo oh ya and the LF-3 .
    Nothing against the LF-3 but I got plenty that server already.

    The yield is specified at 13% probability.

    The chance of getting 100 gate parts in a row (3e-98) or 1,000,000 spins with no gate part ( I couldn't calculate it the number was to small ) are so remote there would be a problem in either case.

    When you consider as pointed out above to get just 110 spins in a row without a gate part is 2e-7 which is 1 in 5,000,000 lots of 110 spins in a row.

    You have a better chance of winning the (6/49) lottery 2 weeks in a row with a single ticket (5e-15) than you would of getting just 250 spins in a row without a single gate part (8e-16).

    Indeed ..., if it is stated that the probability/chance =13 % then this should appear during playing. As pacman2 says if you spin 1000 000 and don't get anything something is wrong. There are reasonable limitations if you state a chance.
     
  4. If you don't get gate parts after a couple times refresh the page. Or better yet sometimes I will just log out take a break and relog to the gates.
    superstitious? Maybe but seems to work sometimes.

    I have looked at many anecdotal ideas on what affect part chance like refreshing the page and can say with reasonable certainty that they make no difference.

    To determine if refreshing works, you would need to do a controlled experiment when you get to the point of deciding to refresh, 50% of the time you would refresh and 50% not refresh. to see if it actually made any difference. You would also need to have a random way of deciding to refresh or continue like tossing a coin, so that you did not influence which time you refresh or continue. Also you would need to decide before the trial how many spins you will spin for the comparison, as it would need to be predetermined and the same for both.

    It is interesting that you say it works sometimes as that would also suggest it does not work sometimes.

    dude no u can't there is a number set for how many parts u need to open it .and u might get multipliers but only 6 times so ...
     
  7. this game is sooo fun...REMOVED this game is thrash.. atm i log on like 2 times a week and sep up and log off.. 1 mill sep and counting.. Yay....

  8. Break out the VISA and ya bound to get gates left right and centre lol, its like Accountant's way of saying "Thank you" from all the way over in the BP office.

    What evidence do you have to show statistically, you get significantly better gate part yield when using real money bought uri?
     
  10. I've done both, noticed no difference. I don't think there's a difference.
     
  11. Does juicy lucy understand that 13% includes multipliers? Everytime you get a multiplier, its considered a gate part.

    I agree with everyone complaining about the chances of receiving a gate part because I'm feeling it VERY clearly as well. It's not 13% that's for sure, I just don't see how that could be true in any way, I don't... The amount of GGE it takes me to build gates now is A LOT higher than it was a few weeks ago.
     
  13. You should have built up galaxy gates around 2 years ago... That time the 13% where true. Nowadays the 13% also seem to be a "fake-chance" like getting a LF4 / havoc / herc / uri from bonus-boxes etc....

    On the other side: Chances seem to be valid when it is already useless, for example got 1 booty-key from a quest - just used it and: Hell yeah 1 LF 4..... nice, got already over 50 of these ugly lasers....

    By the way: When will BP take action against the last remaining "magic-fighters" ???

    I'm seriously mad now, I've spend 3000 GGE on Kappa and its stuck on 118/120...

    #EDIT: ROFL. I went on my galaxy gate page, chose kappa, "oh a x2 multiplier", clicked 1 energy for 100 uri with x2 multiplier, 2 Kappa parts, kappa finished. *laughed my ass off*.
    It's nice how uri builds gates better than GGE... very clearly so, though it's stated that both should give the same result.

  16. Hope guys know how buildinga gate works. 13% is a chance of getting a part. If you got the part already. You will get a multiplier. If you use multiplier and get a gate part, you will get the pieces you need. Meaning, if you get a part with multiplier, you will get parts you don't have automatically.

    The last 6 pieces are always the hardest to get

    I regards to chance and "luck", has anyone else noticed some odd results when upgrading? I tried 9 items all at 25% and not one succeeded. This isn't the first time either; I've selected 25% for every item an only 0 - 10% succeed on a couple different occasions. I know it could be really bad luck...but I don't see the statistics working in my favor nearly as much as they work against me.

    Hi folks,

    I putted 13 percent change in matlab, see figure

    for usage of the different multipliers i.e. when the multiplier appears you use it directly at 2x, 3x, 4x , 5x, or 6x automatically. The x-axis shows you the amount of spins needed to complete te gate.The y axis gives you the change, probability you finish the gate with equal or lower corresponding amount of spins. If you use consequently, the 2x you should be able to finish the gate below 3000 spins (only 7/1000000 need more), however if you don't use it consequently few percent of the people need 3000 spins or more. As you might know, it is best to use 2x directly when available. If you experience differently, let me know maybe I need to recheck my calculation. Any how you should get an idea how much uri you can save doing full havoc or hercules.

    Up to level five you really can save uridium. At higher levels, you still benifit but less.
