[CL] Clan WAR

  1. in the U.S.A 3 east Coast server! there has developed a certain problem with a clan which chooses to attack only clans that are weaker then they are. the clan is REMOVED. They have destroyed the EIC company by chasing all the low level clans into other companies, by force due to constant war on the weaker clans within the EIC! After the REMOVED Clan has chased the weak clans into other companies, They change to another company because only clans with the same Ultra Full Elite remain,and they will not fight a fair fight! This clan then declares war on the weaker clan's in the new company. currently the VRU company. after the weak clans had all left EIC, they moved to VRU to start their domination. this will destroy the entire VRU company. Just like it did with the EIC company.I was EIC but changed to VRU to rid our clan of the REMOVED warmongers! Now REMOVED has moved the entire clan into the VRU company to war weaker VRU clans. I refuse to change companies again, as if i go to MMO then REMOVED will move there next, after the weaker clans in the VRU company have decided to leave! to get away from them. can Dark Orbit do anything about this strategy that has developed. warning, MMO is next on the target list, when the only remaining clans in VRU are Ultra Full Elite. The REMOVED clan will change companies again. they already destroyed the EIC. when they finish the VRU and entire clans have left the VRU. they will move to the next target. MMO

  2. This is a terrible strategy, I will agree, but I don't think support or the developers should step in to change it. It's legal within the game rules, and I can't see why they would be forced to stop. Although they are effectively killing the game, are there really no UFE's that will fight back? I doubt that. Anywho, I still don't think declining wars would help. If that was the case, then all the clans that leech off my cubes would be invincible, as I refuse to lose a huge amount of honor to kill them. War is important, and declining it would be terrible.

    The thing is, with the change to the pushing system, DO encourages this behaviour as a player in a warring clan can be popped more times before the aggressor start to loose any EP / Honour, compared to any other player.

    Which I have always thought was a misguided decision.

    The negative honour count for own company kills was introduced to punish such behaviour, which was a good move as newbies being popped by there own company did not encourage them to stick around.

    But now Newbies in a clan can be sent a war with no way of stopping it, then they become prime targets for the exact behaviour, the negative honour count system was introduced to curb.
     
  4. I wasn't complaining about that aspect, I'm saying that's why I refuse to shoot other company members. So it did it's job well. Look at EVE online, they had a good solution until they went the DO way. It used to be that for every war you had, the cost to maintain that war was magnified greatly. So no one could have more than 4 or so wars before they were bankrupted. I think this would be a good idea.

    This is what I posted on another thread on the subject:-

    Maybe there should be a cost ( say clan rank points ) for starting a war which increases each time you start a new war on the same clan. Then clans would think more carefully about starting wars.

    It could be say 0.2% of the clan rank point for the first war against a specific clan, then double to 0.4% on the second time warring the same clan, then 0.8% , 1.6% 3.2% and so on.

    After all clan rank surely should, in part, reflect what a clan does for its company, not get rewarded for warring its own company, from all the honour and ep from the own company kills.

    Just to add:-
    The clan war rank point tax, could also increase if a clan has multiple wars at the same time.

  7. Maybe it's time DO puts a cap on how many times you war a clan within a couple of months. On GA1 before bots were shut down, 3 clans grouped up to kill freely on their own company by spamming wars. a whole year of war broke out in eic. Enemies came to port and all they saw were hundreds of people multiple clans, duking it out. My clan was one of them in this problem, however I had school and always went afk in the pally field when I needed gates for ammo and no time to pally myself, nor the care to do it. I just left the clan until I got ammo. However. I managed over 500 war kills, whether they were botting or actually trying to fight me, I wracked em up. Main problem with this clan... They all used the cheats within the game. Bots, Auto-Locks, Damage Hacks. (or bugs w.e you non-believers wanna say) Either way, they abused all of those. They allied themselves with other companies and hid from us when they couldn't handle it. Of the 3 clans it was REMOVED, REMOVED, and REMOVED. REMOVED(1) was already afraid of me being they had some members on my list and I enjoyed constantly popping them all even for - honor, so they wouldn't war me. REMOVED(2) got tired of their members popping and leaving clan, so after a couple of months they stopped sending war. But REMOVED(3), their mother bot/cheat clan, kept warring and kept going. Barely making the kills they wanted, but dying so much due to their stupidity. Then bots went down. Their clan tried longer for wars, but couldn't handle the fact they had no skills to get the stuff they wanted and couldn't fly around the maps to kill NPC's. Now there are about 4 of them left in EIC and the rest went vru, and either changed names, or avoid being seen. Their reign of terror came to a close.

    My point of this story was. DO does need a war cap, Clans seek free kills and will constantly war the smaller ones. And run from the bigger ones (which yes I had some friends help me, and those 3 clans always begged for my friends to end the wars). If DO truly wants to help the smaller players a cap is needed. I say only 2 wars to the same clan be allowed within a couple of months. After you send those 2 the 60 days will have to pass before you can do it again. Why only 2 within 60 days? Because some clan deserve to be trashed in wars, simple as that.


    Most I can tell you right now is talk to your company, get the big clans to dish out the pain on this clan doing the dirty game-play. Most that can be done for now.

    On global or on your company chat tell strong players to come help you take them, they will fly away easily. Or tell every clan in your company to start war with that clan. Before you know it you will be whooping their asses and making them run and switch company
     
  9. Lol I was whooping some butt alone. and sadly 90% of the English players left my server as the cheats took over. it is mainly Spanish, with a good portion of German. These clans don't even bother showing up in the maps anymore seeing as they got annihilated in the long run. I had a good time :p

  10. Not to worry, there was a few of us helped slaughter those bullies. They not in our "company" any longer :D

    It doesn't matter to me where you come from, if you're a bully, you better be good at it 'cause I am.. Love putting the boots to bullies here on the game.

    I'm for the better of the game, same company killers (bullies) are hunted.

  13. Some of them however back with their toys, I think one of them is pretty obvious, I mean seriously, his name and clan tag are the same, and they're like that cause of his cute dmg.
     
  14. Always the same magic players. Seems it's the nature of the beast in this game. They use magic and nothing happens to them. Oh well, I hunt them when they not using the scripts muahaha. Everyone of those punks are in my kill log multiple times. Just gotta know when and where to get them. Amaizing what you can "observe" when cloaked on enemy map ;)
