Contact support its your only hope we have helped you all we can. Good luck to ya. But im sure you will get the same info from them. Like i said if it was a server issue it would be everyone.

As i advised it might not be you pc ,it may just be your isp. Also there are many other factors to look into. Where your located to where the server is located could be a issue. And calling your isp and asking if your caped wont help they will deny it even exists. Testing for it is the only way to know.

 

Looks like it could be a lot of isps in the states. There are 20 plus people on the west server right now talking about how they can't see the ball to play space ball. And that is just VRU, like me. DO might want to run checks on this. A lot of people are bound to just give up trying to play if they can't play. These lag issues give you no chance when trying to stay alive. I thought it was fixed after Domination was over but the ISP's may have had different thoughts. I am on all 4 USA servers and Germany 1 but the common factor is that I have 1 ISP that I am using to play on all of them. I suppose I could just log on long enough to trade ore and from time to time auction. I will have all the best stuff needed for my 5 accounts, oh west is already complete - forgot, but won't be able to play long enough to make uri needed to upgrade anything, not to mention do quest or gates. I ran the test mentioned Parasite, nice page, but just adds to the frustration. I miss being able to run around trying to get my quest done but if the lag is so bad that you can pop after sitting at a port for a minute because it all just caught up, how can you even try. On the cap, you can check your account to see what your monthly limit is and a number of ISP's should have something that tells you where you are on it. Be aware that the more people playing adds to the amount of traffic you are using as you have to graphically show everyone in the area. If you normally, or used to play for hours, a number of you, like me, will be super frustrated to the point of ending subscriptions, rebate and the like. Those that just log 5 hours or less a week will just put it down all together. Suddenly board games and cards will become appealing again. You may even discover your relationships all over again, for those whose significant other stuck around long enough. Just a thought. About to go give my ISP a piece of my mind now. Gravitron, I still have the issue. Please refer to my post before yours. It is hard to tell if it is a world wide problem but its regularly talked about on usa west. I know for a fact that people play on it from around the world, but can only confirm people in the states having issues with it. I keep missing a buddy of mine from Germany to ask him. If you want to test if you can duplicate the issue, I advise doing it outside the company LAN so you get the true experience.

 

With any web browser game of you course you will find some sort of lag issues. That's why we give the clear cache and update flash and clear your flash cache procedures to help reduce these type of issues, however I have tried to recreate this on my laptop and my backpage and forums have had no issues. I would also suggest trying different browsers as well. Currently I am using SRWare Iron web browser and has been great. Others tend to stay with the more mainstream Chrome or Firefox, but if you try different ones, some might respond differently to the site.

2 days i cant even log in to game

clear cache, using vpn, connection type still not work, always stop and stuck on loading screen cmon i get frustated now

 

The backpage i laggy a all hell, game page slowload, lag when starting up, back page stuck on loading, then equipment page stalling not just me multiple people in the game across different companies and clans case in point its dark orbits lag

I am going to take if for granted that you tried it at home, what ever state it is in. I am going to try your browser and see how it goes for me. I have used Safari, Firefox, and Chrome. All three used to be most awesome. I will post my findings after I get it set up.

Ok, I tried yours as well and same problem. I am thinking it is an isp problem at this time. I checked my usage at home and saw where I have used a lot over the past few months which coincides to me listening to online music while playing. I am going to just sit back and relax for the next few weeks and see if it improves. I really hate adding more software to my tablet, and don't even suggest that is the problem. Like some others have mentioned, I only have lag issues with this game. Other games I play have no such problems. At the same time, I will point out that I don't play any other data intense games such as DO. I am using cable internet. I would think it would not be a issue but I am ruling nothing out. I have been reading how people have been having this issue with other games over high speed internet services over the past few months which makes me want to steer away from it being a DO server issue, but at the same time if the mod's are located around the world, or at least some around different parts of the US, I ask that they all try while at home, I know - off the clock right, and see if they can play like normal. While I agree some lag is normal to have, when you "run" to port and sit there for a few minutes, you should not suddenly see your ship getting torn up suddenly. Also, you should be able to go from map to map and start playing in that map, not have to wait 5 minutes for the map to load. Its just odd that I used to be able to play for hours with no issues and now I may as well announce in the global chats of each of the servers my location so I can be blown to bits. I tried playing 2 days ago and was popped by a player, and never saw it happen, therefore I never had a chance to try to survive, or retaliate. So with that, I think I am done with this thread. I will check it from time to time so if anything changes I will know. See you guys in the Orbit, maybe...

 

I have double checked this on multiple servers and different accounts. I unfortunately cannot recreate the type of lag issues you are having. My load screen takes about 15 seconds to load then about 4 seconds for the establishing connection page to pass and all jump ports take 3 to 4 seconds to jump to other map from pressing jump. I will say in many cases it can just be the computer the player is playing on. Especially older models the memory, the video card, the actual speed of the computer can dramatically slow down game play or even getting a connection to the game. If this does further persist for you try on new computers or a friends computer. I have done all these check on my home laptop at home on my internet. I run 20mbs download from AT&T and have had no major issues.

 

It's not at all times -Gravitron- .. around late night when the servers get a tad busy.. we have to face lag issues and slow backpage loading..

 

Well I know I said I was done with this topic but have great news. Lag is gone. I did a refresh on my tablet. OMG Talk about a difference. I must say my anxiety went through the roof while waiting for the updates to reload but overall I am happy now. I checked all three browsers I use, sorry dropped yours Gravity, and they work great. I also logged in from two of the locations I play at, no problems there. It could be that there was something running on my tablet that should not have been. I am pretty picky about what I put on here but have checked out some items in an attempt to solve issues. At any rate, watch what you load on your computer; make a written log of what you are loading, including why you loaded it. There is still a little lag but its more like the normal I think. I think it would still be good to check from time to time it speeds are being slowed down. I am not totally convinced the servers are at fault but be advised that if there are special event, more players being on line can drag it down from what it is used to. If the mods have any personal friends that speak of lag while online, I would invite you to take your laptop to their place to see if you get the same issue when logging into the game. They may have the same problem I had, or maybe they need some general help. There are still lots of reports of isp's slowing the speeds down, and I am sure if you don't normally use a lot they won't change your speed. It is not like they are going to out right tell you they did it anyways. They promise you "Up to x speed" with the plan instead of saying "You will have X speed or better." At any rate, I am happy I am back to normal play. I have uri to make for hangers. Those of you still having issue, it won't hurt to refresh or reload your computers and see if it makes a difference. Its not like you can get very far with super lag right now anyways. I suggest a good movie or another activity while it is going on to keep the anxiety I had at bay.

Yeah.. the lag was gone for a day tops.. I wasn't facing the issue last night.. but just NOW.. the backpage is totally fine but the game client won't load for me.. it takes 20mins+ to finish "loading" and then just stays there.. ugh..

 

What do you use to play? I am still playing on all my servers with no issues. I have never done any of the GB servers but I think I have enough to do at this time. You might try refreshing/reloading your computer. Just a thought.

 

I'm using Chrome on a 50 mb/s download, 10 mb/s upload internet.. sometimes the game seems fine.. sometimes it's just really lame.. have asked alot of players on the game aside from me.. about 40+ players face the problem.. (that's all the active players using English chat)..

 

hi guys i have been having the same problem and i have to say that today i have seen an improvement, ive had a good clear out of browser cache (im using opera) cleared flash cache and also java cache and ive seen a huge improvement especially in the minimap issue. I know its boring but maybe worth another clearout of everything and see? I did all the cache clearances etc the last 2 days but it didnt help at all but today it is improved..JUICY
