Clan Battle Station

  1. Another thought for clan battle station might be you're not able to destroy station until all 8 modules are destroyed, just like a boss npc in a gate. this might keep some of the stations from misteriously being popped faster than you can blink an eye.

  3. I would like this. The central structure should have an ISH with all the other modules active. Hell, make it to where at least half the modules have to be taken out to take down the ISH (Modules that have already been destroyed and are repairing or being replaced will count as a destroyed one).
    It's like real life. You can't simply jump into a building that is surrounded with top of the line defenses and take it down while being shop a bazillion times (lol, maybe 9 or 10 shots) and survive.
     
  4. well this is yes and no. Look at it from two angle. Yes, when u need to destroy a base, it should require atleast 50 % of modules destroyed before you attack the center, however if you have a ufe clan, then you will never destroy that base and it will last forever lol.

    i agree with this. a group of weak players will never be able to take out a cbs against a ufe clan/defenders. it will be hard enough with out the defenders as it is. it will take too much effort on their part to pop 50% of the mods by that time the deflector may be up.

    maybe a another way of approaching it is the outer mods contribute a small portion of shield strength, shield repair and/or shield adsorption to the hull. this would make the hull easier to take down for every mod that was destroyed, but allow the hull to be attacked directly having to use more effort on the attackers end.

  7. well it is not important anymore. i build stations to trol everyone haha
    most of ppl shoot with x4 ammo to take base down. some times i kill 10 ships before they kill base and no one shoot me. whit cr rep and cr reward who cares if they shoot only hull or if they shoot modules.

  10. Shows how little everyone cares about idea section it was top page so it's still a new thread for me. EITHER WAY! I posted an idea over what? 2-3 months ago, and someone posted a similar one before as well.

  14. BattleStations mysteriously pop because those that built them leave their clan & thus take the modules with them. It's a glitch that is referred to as "Going Pro", the outer modules suddenly appear destroyed then the Hull Module one shot pops, the standard message that Clan X has destroyed Clan Y's Battle station on Map A-B appears but points are not earned by attacking clans.

    So, Yes making the outer modules pop 1st before the Hull/Deflector is definitely a good idea & been plugged many times before.

    But to stop BattleStations "Mysteriously Disappearing" maybe DO/BP should consider preventing clan members "Going Pro" deceiving & depriving of BattleStation kills especially when they are under attack by either preventing them leaving clan whilst BattleStaion is active or allowing BattleStations to be "Dismantled" with a timer that resets to say 10 minutes if attacked.
