I wanna gate bash

I'm a noob I know never did this gate bashing before. Sounds horrid. ANYWAYS...

I wanna gate 'farm' < word that will last centuries.

I didn't even do alpha yet. I know the best way to get dem gates is to obviously buy uri and spam the 100 energy. IMMA do this old fashion way. Ok so I get a pet and farm the pally rocks. Pop a few get popped a few... The usual. And bam I've got 6598 gg energy . Great. One problem. Never done a gate. I don't know what configs to use or whateve. So I just need a gate 'farmer' to give me those tips n tricks to get used to these gates . Especially that zeta gate. I like those rewards it gives. Also how I get that beast looking crown for gates?

 

Use the UNOFFICIAL Darkorbit Wiki (Very helpful, should be Official xD). Search up the gates and it should show recommended configs to use. Also read the Trivia and Tips, they are quite helpful.

 

It will be good if ull write your equipment - how many lf3s/irises/bo2s you have, and how well you can avoid NPC shoots. After that I can write you configs which are best for you

My advice: Do now only Zetas, it is the easiest gate.

 

My personal opinion is that Zeta is the easiest Galaxy Gate to do. While there are stronger Aliens in it than Alpha, there are also fewer Aliens per wave.

Just use standard battle (full Lasers on Drones, full Shield on Ship) and speed Configurations on your Ship. You'll be using the battle for the majority of the waves in the gate.

Also, you get the Crown from completing the Kronos Gate. This gate requires you to complete the other Galaxy Gates a set number of times before you can do it.

 

I am only basic fe. 31 lf3 31 b02 full speed 8 iris. Only that. I dont have any serious upgrades only two iris lvl two. And one pilot point for ship hp. So what would be a zeta cutting config? Thanks in advance.

Ah, yes, I forgot to mention Moth. I also forgot to mention that the Aliens in GG Zeta drop Seprom, so be sure to pick up the Cargo Boxes.

 

Try these configs:

One 7 speed and the rest shields, in drones 4 shields and the rest lf3s. Second confi fast (15 speed gens) and in drones 8 lasers and the rest shields.

In this gate are 2 NPCs called 'Devourer'. After first one jump out from gate and make 2 fast configs, first 50-50 lasers-shields, second is the same than before.


This is if you don't have Moth formation. If you have it, make first configuration full speed with all drones filled by lasers. After first devourer change configs in way which I wrote higher.


After few Zeta gates you'll do this gate on fast config with full dmg without any problems All what you need is practice.


Oh, I nearly forgot: NPCs here are really bad shooters (maybe they are half-blind), so don't stay in one place but circle around them. They will not hit you much.

 

I just did one tank and one suicide
1st: Config, 5 shields on ship, 10 speed, all lasers on drones
2nd: All speed on ship, all lasers on drones, no shields
I ran suicide and once I dropped below 100k HP, i backed of and repaired, switching to tank if necessary.
They don't hit all that hard, so it should be fine ^^
Much easier if you have moth too
