messaging systems

Well seems im having a issue with it saying on heads up I have an unread message , And on back page it shows there is a unread message. But when I click the message tab there is nothing but old messages there. Looked in all tabs and nothing.

About the same time this happened the fps on game went haywire! It went from 126fps at login to 365fps. My connection is great, flash, java, and everything clean. Ping test great. Speed test awesome on upload and download. All temps are normal. In game screen loads fine but as soon as im in and start to fly everything gets the jitters.

Tested other sites such as youtube, hulu, and others that use flash player and they all tested fine with great streaming. Any ideas?

 

that has been around since the system came out. it's just a dumb bug no one really bothers with.

 

ok cool I will just iggy ty dream for the info. As for the fps I d/l fraps and did some looking and see a big conflict it the numbers when you fps says 60 fps the tool is saying 48 . So I tested it on a d3 and got awesome fps that matched the fps counter for that game. This leads me to believe there is a conflict with the verson of fps tool you are using. Take note also when you lag out the fps counter stays at 61 or 62 when in fact it should bottom out at 0. Maybe this needs some looking into!

 

I cannot be sure, but I have been told that the message notification icon also represents how many unread Clan Messages you have. I'd try checking them and seeing if it goes away.

It'd be nice to see if this is the case, so if you wouldn't mind replying and letting us know, that'd be awesome.

 

I looked and no clan messages. But ty for the idea I didn't think of looking on clan side. However as soon as the jittering of aliens went away so did the heads up message. So I looked on back page and now its at o/o. So something has to be wrong in the coding. Or this was the system telling me (Watch Out Lag Is Coming) lol

 

Just a quick thought why does it seem us 3 and a hand full of others use this forum. And other act like its the plague. We happen to work good and figure a lot out as a team. Good job guys!

 

Nah it's a bug because i cleared mine once, did some bids, lost them all checked all the messages. which were 3, and for an hour i got stuck with 1 msg unread until finally it went away.

As soon As it happens again I sure will. And its called a screen shot but you do use the print screen button

 

Just toss down like 5-10 knowingly lost bids lol and it will most likely glitch out on you.

 

I just think its a lil weird that nothing seems to happen to the mod staff in mod ships or own ships. Its not like its a big secret that things are broke. here is a metaphor for ya. Plugging a flat tire with a rubber plug don't fix it, It just acts as a Band-Aid to the real problem. Please do not drive it long as you will be left along side the road with out a tire.

 

When it does happen again please reply back here so that we can have all the necessary information to look into this more for you. Thank you.

 

There is no exact time.As it is a bug that randomly shows its face. If you would read what Everyone else and I have posted you would know this. Not trying to be disrespectful but gravitron your not being very helpful. I understand you new and your trying to do your best but pls dont answer my posts if your not going to read the thread fully. If you would have read the first 5 posts your question would have been answered!

We are aware that this issue doesn't happen on a regular basis and are willing to wait until the necessary information such as the requested screen shot can be provided.

We here in forums are working very hard to try an answer your issues in a timely manner. As well as take the information that you the players provide on in game issues to test and hopefully get these matters resolved.

We appreciate players like you helping to make the gaming environment a better place for all.

*Wink* ty Astraea, iI'm not trying to be a pain to him just trying to show him a lil direction. As being new it can seem tough at times. And who better to break him in then me lol.

 

I got plenty of credits to waste, i can attempt a ton of bids till it glitches out and shows up.

 

it seems like it is speratic i have tried but with no end result. But im sure it will show again. all we can do is try but i think finding the error in there hack pad would be a lot faster. They make tools to find broken code and codes with errors.

 

As I previously mentioned, when it does happen again you can reply back with the screen shot to help us. I am not new to this, but we do appreciate all the help the players give to us to help resolve these type of issues. Again when it does happen please let us know so that we can help try to get this resolved.

All you have to do is d/l and open in gimp and select export as .ico or you can use a .ico converter like icoconverter.com

 

i needed the DO one which the admin gave me the render for it. it's to fit in a video for part of a song.
