Low Bug

Rumours circulating that the LoW bug is going to soon be patched and users that have taken advantage of this bug will be punished.l

Hi there,

The only official information i can provide at the moment is that the certain issue i believe you are referencing has been passed onto the development team to be looked into. I cannot comment on how support will decide to approach this issue since we have yet to receive any comments on this from support. Support will always be within their right to punish any users who abuse or exploit a bug, however we haven't received any official communications that such action will be taken, therefore as it stands it appears to be nothing but rumours.

Time to spank the bad boys ? ​

 

Unfortunately the bad boys is probably 75% of Dark Orbit. If they patched this bug, guaranteed at least 4 people will fall out of the Top 9 on GE6.
I thought Uridium is suppose to keep players 1 step ahead of opponents, and yet free players seem to be stay 1 step ahead of those who buy uridium

Since I'm sure the bug is fixed, and now only punishments need be doled out, could someone elaborate a little bit on what they did?....I don't need details, just gimmie the gist, I'm super nosy and curious....I'm guessing they spammed aliens in a group with Aegis's and Kami??

 

There was several I think, the ones I saw talked about in skype chats were parking the falcon so it didnt shoot back and the other was getting the reward for the falcon twice per gate.

The LoW is notorious for bugs though, well over a year ago people used to drag the NPC into radiation and that would bug them all out so none of them would shoot back. Didn't hear anyone getting punished for it then so will be interesting if they do it now.

 

i still want them to change the low gate where the aliens dont run from you when low hp

and if you really want to know what it is about. go on youtube and tipe in FALCON LOW BUG. theres like 1000 videos about it, and that bug is old. i think more than 1 year.
so it work like this. kill falcon and drop kamikaze on npcs in midle of map.
falcon pay out 5000 uri and npcs 6500 uri...

• Group reward + 10,305,000 C.
• Group reward + 6,514 U.
• Group reward + 1,000,000 C.
• Group reward + 5,000 U.

 

Saw some of the videos.
1 just puts the falcon to sleep...ha snake charmer you.
2 the other just kami and don't chase the runners and pop out and repeat
3 the other just kami - the first few NpCs and then pop out and repeat
I see no bug here - just strategy except for the snake charmers. Sad to see they can just use the Moth formation and can get the runners and shoot every NPC, but that is just me.

 

bug is kamikaze after falcon die. you can get 6500 uri more if you fly in to npcs in center of map and drop 1 kamikaze on them.
so all in all you only dmg npcs not kill, and after sistem put you back on x-1 map you get extra uri and credits.

 

Didn't see any video showing that. Oh well, I am not a big fan of watching others play Thanks for info on bug...no kill NPCs and you more reward, ha

 

yeah, you only have to kill falcon and kamikaze npcs 1 time.
try darkorbit low bug part 2 on youtube. you can see there how it work.
i hope it is not a problem for me to write this here because DO is working on this to fix. some ppl told me that it's been fix for eic and vru and only for mmo work. i am mmo and cant say if that is true or not.
they told me that sistem puts you back to x-1 map right after falcon pop so no time to use kamikaze on npcs.
