What server to start on?

I plan to start on a new server but I don't know what one. I was thinking about GB1 or GE1.
GB1 has a very active chat but GE1 seems to have alot more players.

I'm worried if I play on GE1 there won't be enough English speaking clans and I will be stuck playing with a bunch of players that don't understand any English.

What server do you think is best?

There are plenty of clans on GE1 who will hunt in English on their teamspeaks, but as for general global chat on DO, its pretty much completely dead. Even when there is activity it's often still not English but instead people talking in langauges where they don't have their own chat, such as Bosnian, Serbian etc.
As soon as you get in a friendly clan with people from lots of countries you will have no issues talking to people in English, they will all be doing it as well as it is the common language between almost everyone.

However, it is definitely one of, if not the most, populated server. With that said you need to get yourself in one of the big war clans to really get the most out of mass PvP.


Can't really speak on behalf of GB1, but what server have you come from originally? If its one with an already active English chat then you would essentially be going to the same type of server?

 

I played on the scandinavian server some time ago but I never really got a decent ship there. Now I'm coming back to play again and want a new server.

 

have into mind that thinks are not the same (easy) like in scandinavia server
just tale a look into both servers auction for ... cytadel price or example

 

Scandinavian server is actually worse on same company killings unless you're in a clan that plays more. I'd choose GB1, more people if you're already on US1.
