The Bible hasn't been updated with the info for the 3 elite ships, their abilities and their designs.

EDIT: Saw them in "Standard ships", but those elite ships aren't standard. Also, put their designs in other tabs/sections. Their designs aren't there.

EDIT #2: The citadel's fortify description in the Bible is confusing. It says "reduces it's resistance to damage" What this means literally is Fortify actually increases it's vulnerability to damage (maybe lowers shield/hull damage distribution). That is what it implies.

 

the elite design also states that there is a decrease in travel and fortify... if this is an accurate description it is pointless buying something which will reduce the time of the travel ability... this ability is good for escaping attack... this reduction is therefore putting me off buying the design (sorry forgot to mention I am in a CITADEL)

 

The idea behind the elite designs was to give you a choice and a challenge in how you use the CAS ships. It can add to the challenge when using them but you must also realize that unlike the goli and lightning designs, you still have 3 to 4 abilities. Also, what was done was boost one ability at the expense of the others. I have the veteran and elite designs for the CAS ships and vary when I use each of them. You will have to think about what you are doing where...

 

All depends in your style of playing the game. There is no right way nor a wrong way to play the game.
