October is here what will Halloween Dark Orbit style be this year?

As it is coming up I am sure us vets are wondering will we be treated or tricked this year.
Hopefully a lot of nice pumpkins full of goodies and not the Dark Orbit version of our windows soaped and yard covered in toilet paper.

• The horrifying Curcubitor is walking abroad of the maps in orbit. Destroy him and cash in on your sweet reward!
• Ghost Boss aliens – more terror, bigger pay-offs!

• Level Invasion Gate with the Curcubium and Boss Curcubium
• In defiance of the scariness your drones will not take damage during the entire event

We just have to hope the boxes and quests are good.

Wow a special invasion gate that is supposed to be a regular event. Low uridium reward aliens to piss everyone off during the entire event, the boxes could be amazing then get ''fixed'' or start off as completely awful. Demonic Halloween quests that pay low and are insanely difficult to complete, most likely, free drone repairs is cool, better paying boss aliens is nice to. Maybe I'll have to log-in for more then just chatting :O.

 

i will bet that we will all get the "you cannot collect ammo" message when trying to get those pumpkins....

Level Invasion Gate with the Curcubium and Boss Curcubium. This event will poof most out - most are not FE enough to avoid the Boss Curcubiums (3 of them spawn at once). Going to take a while, but the rewards are great. And regardless the boxes will be good as always ...the special NPCs are NPCs what do you expect - just a different variety.

The boxes USED to be good in this game...the LAST good box event was either CHRISTMAS OR HALLOWEEN of 2012....which BTW, were LESS good than the ones from 2011, which were LESS GOOD than the ones from 2010....see the PATTERN !!!

They ALMOST made the boxes good for that last event we had ...BUT THEY CHANGED the boxes 2 days into the event because they were "too good" ( and for more perspective, these "TOO GOOD" ones were only EQUAL to the good pumpkins of 2012)....SO the NERFED boxes of the last event went back to STINKING OUT LOUD !!!!....after being "Old School Good" ...for ONE DAY !!!!

SO lets use the past to predict the future.... IF the boxes come out good...DONT WORRY ....Dark Orbit will NERF the [removed] outta them after a day or two.....OR OR OR ....They will be total [removed] right from the get go ! YAY !

On a positive note , I am curious to see the Cucurbiums spawning on regular maps, that might be fun and worthwhile....maybe.

lots of boxes that have no point of picking up as ammo doesn't stack, along with some great new event that will be boring as the servers are dead and not enough people to participate in them followed by "buy me but me I'm only 100$"

It would be just 'good' not the higher wording The PET fuel is capped at 50,000. The boxes are rubbish, but you are getting a treat in the pumpkins and events. At least you won't have to travel far to get a 'boxes'.

Is it specified anywhere exactly what the bigger payoff is for ghost bosses?

I picked up about 50 pumpkins so far and found 1 with pet fuel. Plenty of rep credits though.

 

ammo, rockets, mines dont stack...pumpkins are turd this year...worse than ever

 

50% extra uri for boss kills, and bosses are cloaked/ghosts lol

 

SO far so good PET is full and lots of decent rockets.

 

So how do you get a chance at this gate? I finished the quests, Is the gate supposed to appear somewhere like a regular gate would on 01 map?

 

no its just invasion gate its just a random event like spaceball and crazy cubes its not a gate that u get when u do the mission

 

OK, I don't know half of what is going on like those things you just mentioned, I just shoot stuff and upgrade when I can.
