Player Combat?

I don't attack players mainly because I am not outfitted for combat of that type. I have only been out of the faction protection for about a day and I have been killed by 5 other players, all in warring clans and it has been called "A casualty of war" every time. Is there anything that can keep me from being labeled as an enemy?

 

if you are in a clan, just get out of the clan and your only enemies will be the other two companies.(no one from your company will attack you)
that doesnt keep you save from thieves (from your own company), anyone on the game can kill you if they want too. but if you get out of the clan you wont be targeted as much by the enemy clans.

I have to go all the way to 3-4 for missions.

 

The thing is, I am in a clan, but it is only me and I am not in a war with any factions, nor am I allied. I don't see why I should still be labeled as a target.

 

Well if you don't have war with other clans, then you are being killed by enemy companies. There are:
EIC (Blue)
MMO (Red)
VRU (Green)
This is a PvP game, so if one of the companies you are not in, see you, they will kill you, as it gives rank points, and is part of the game. Some servers, bigger players don't always aim for the smaller ones, but others, the big players are so bad, they desperately go for the small.
What server is it you play on?

 

I spent most of my early days in the x-2 map. Keep your eye on the minimap. When enemy enters map (yellow bar) run to nearest port. In the meantime pickup bonus boxes, cargo's and kill every npc you can. Build up your uri & ship slowly.

If you've just lost your attack protection a day or two ago, try to stay out of the x-3, x-4 maps. They are where enemies like to hunt noobs constantly.

Oh and postpone the quests until your a bit stronger. Good shields, speed (vengi), cloaks, emp's & ish will save you !!! Invest in them heavily... hope this helps

 

Well, the big players do like to go for me. They do 40k damage a hit and usually travel in groups. I am only level 8 also. How do I found out which server I play on?

 

on your backpage click the server button at the top left, it shows the planet in a square. It should show the server your on in blue.

 

USA East Coast, it was my default for some reason. Is there a server without so many players that go for level 8 ones in groups?

 

All the servers are ruthless. best bet is to find a good group of players and stick with them. it is ok to leave your clan if they have war as you are just a noobie. try to get teamspeak and use it to communicate with other players in the game. It is hard being new. being new and a free player makes it much harder. but keep pushing forward and doing quest`s. if you follow the npc quest`s you will gain the credits to bid on better items and make your self stronger. don't give up poping is part of the game. one thing that might help is to wisper the person who is poping you over and over and just ask them nicely to stop. they may not but you never know.

Try GB1 or GB2 it may not be the most ideal server there ALOT of us big ships on there but. we have A lot of clans that let in the smaller people and make them stronger. EIC is the strongest company so also the safeest. Im on GB1 personally and is not stupidly bussy its like quiet untill like dinner time then it gets busy for like 2-5 hours then it goes quiet again Infact. ive even got a clan myself on GB1 you could probably join since its for beginners. called (DL) just ask for pip.. in eic/gloable and ill sort you out with some help. ^.^

Alright. Is your clan one that allows all companies?

 

do what i done, head straight for the vengence (or spearhead although it is faster, it is weaker) ship, full speed and best shields possible... you'll survive more if you're quicker than the majority of the enemy.
also i dont think running to a different server is the best idea, you will always have the problem of the full elites picking on the noobs and so you just need to pass that point where you cant defend yourself.
Make friends with everyone on chat so you can have them to back you up if you need them, make as little enemies as possible for obvious reasons... more friendly you are less people will shoot you

 

Before my clan became part of the server war on GA1 we took in smaller players and got them basic fe. but GA1 is just a drama fest between german clans and spanish clans, and then there are the few english clans that got involved like us. The big pick on the weak all the time there, they see a small clan with newbie golis, they war them lol. Game is full of cowards.
