P.E.T Questions

Hello there,

I am brand new to the P.E.T, bought it some hours ago. What I want to know is this: Does the Radar protocol increases range of Enemy locator gear?

And one more thing, when my P.E.T is equipped with lasers and shields and is in guard mode, because of its shooting, is it spending more fuel than usual? Or it's standard fuel consumption on how much time it is "up" and doing something?

yes it does . and yes .it will use more .from what I've seen .also .just a tip. buy only lvl 3 protocols . if u buy anything else ur wasting uridium . so just keep it open to get to level 8 and then buy ur protocols

Forgot one more important question: If my P.E.T is maximum level, and I didn't unlocked any additional slots than usual, let's say, will it consume fuel the same as I have unlocked all of that slots?

 

it doesn't matter how many slots u have , it will consume more if u have anything on them . u can have all the slots unlocked if there's nothing on them .then it doesn't matter

 

Ok, that's cool I needed this P.E.T only for Cargo trader (sorry if that name is wrong, you know the gear for selling ore) and Enemy locator, I think it is really useful for quests. Should I only level it up to 8 and stop? Cause I don't plan to have anything else on it, so will it consume much fuel if I level it to 15?

 

The fuel used is calculated by the level of the pet, the number of gears and the number of protocols. I'm sure someone will write the calculation here for you but I'm too lazy to look it up right now. It's something like level * 2 + gears * 4 + protocols * 2. This fuel cost is deducted upon activation of the pet (getting it out) and is also deducted for each minute the pet is active (on the map)

The number of shields and lasers have no effect on fuel usage. You will save a bit of fuel keeping it at level 8. Ignore fuel protocols since due to the way fuel consumption is calculated the saving is extremely marginal and nowhere near the saving implied.

Pet level 8 will use 16 fuel + any gears/protocols. Pet level 15 will use 30 fuel + gears/protocols. So keeping your pet at 8 vs going to 15 will save you 14 fuel per activation/minute.

really they have no effect ? hum that's weird then . my pet consumes way more when I have lf4 and shields on it . lol maybe just a glitch . agh anyway .
