An End to Bray Farming

I know most players are legit but a few are just the same person on two ships farming the bray so they can get as much uri and rank points as they desire. I mean why does DO allow this?? They lose so much money just from the farmers I only wish they would wake up and smell the money. I talked to someone who farms it and they dont even do it, they have a bot click for them and they just stay on it all night making uri, like really??? I'm just shocked a game this old still has these.. erm, loopholes... Come on BP make something happen!!! Fix the bray so it cant be farmed!!!

 

what we do on our server is kill them all the time .and place ddm mines on them , kamikaze etc . they eventually get sick of it .and I think 2 lost their drones .so let them be lol . just keep doing this ,clocked and put ddm mines with 2-3 other players or just shoot them and if they are the same company send them war . ( create another clan and send them war in case u don't want to create war in ur primary clan )

 

See, why even give the players the chance to screw bigpoint over so bad? I'm not just posting this thread because I think this is a joke but because this is simply wrong. Its that thing in terms about taking advantage of a glitch and this glitch apparently has been up for a very long time. A simple patch would do the trick!

It's part of the game and DarkOrbit have said that it's going to stay that way. It creates PvP opportunities, that's why the BattleRay icon was added to the mini-map.

Is a stupid reason to remove something from a game. When you start basing content on whether or not it means you lose out of gaining some money, then you start upsetting players; there are few ways to progress relatively quickly in this game. The BattleRay is one of those ways. Remove it and people will lose interest.

 

I never said I wanted it removed, ever. I love the B-ray since it's the coolest alien in the maps. I'm simply saying it needs to have a patch so players stop exploiting the glitch. Just like years ago with the Kami cool down time, i know a lot of players didn't like it but it was a must-do to keep the game equal or whatever reason they had then.

Not asking to remove the bray just to fix it so the people who rely on it for rank and Uri are forced to actually play the game vs technically cheating. (Not all bray farmers are cheaters I'm talking about the people who play two ships to farm it)

So you don't have to worry about anything, it will be fixed permanently, until then, just kill those who you feel are breaking the rules.

Just move the BRay all over the map - geez Stick it in the maze - LOL, at least sometimes Makes the farmers move around. Better yet, make it opposite its last poof - hehehe

 

thats a good idea but now players just drag that bray to which ever corner looks safe, I've seen it being farmed in all corners except the top left.

 

They asked for feedback regarding this so make sure you have your say. Personally I think all they need to do is increase the number of rays available, even put some in 5-1 to try and bring a bit more life to that map.

 

Yeah I'll do my best, I just hope I'm heard.. I like that idea, would be very nice, my biggest concern is the interceptors. In my opinion it would be best to literally cut the amount of inters per bray by 75% leading to a much lower reward.

I mean there's an assortment of ways to fix this problem. It would be a great idea if the inters actually had a shield on themselves reflecting Kami's instead of lasers It would solve the problem completely. No need to add brays since no one could farm them anymore leaving them wide open for the questers and such. This exploit must be fixed

 

lol mate this is not a bug, it's supose to work like that.
