exotic_foreigner, if you keep up like this, soon when you get in FE Goliath or FE Aegis, they won't be able to kill you easily.

 

Hopefully, a noob who thinks he is MUCH stronger then he actually is comes by and you get a free kill


True Story: (brag mode activate) I popped a noob goli when I was 3 flax and 12 lf2 + 3 lf3 and he had 5 flax and had a Dimi design. He even used his ability on me and still I popped him with 1/4 of my hp remaining.

There's a lil something to boost your morale! Never doubt your abilities, but never be overconfident as well!

 

Thanks for all the good words lads! Finally got my Leonov fully equipped with LF3's! What's the next thing I should focus on? 7900's or BO2's? And how should I distribute them? Leonov only has 6 Generator slots. Will I put them on my Drones or...? I have 6 Flax's at the moment and by end of the day might be able to afford an Iris.

 

Good job with the lasers. Now, get 6 of those speed engines, the most expensive ones (sorry don't know their name). They are fast to get, you won't need much time to buy them all. After that, get 6 BO2's.

When you are done with this, start saving for Irises. Get the first 2-3 with uri, they are cheap. After this 3 irises, you save credits to bid on them. When you are done with this 2-3 irises, it's time to think about getting lf-3's to equip on drones. As Irises have 2 slots, as you get that LF-3's one by one, equip them on. After you have 16 more LF-3's for Irises (apart from those 6 on ship, 8 irises x 2 slots = 16 lasers) you start getting 16 more BO2's. Don't be scared It will take some time, but you will be super strong.

Meanwhile you are doing all of that 16 LF-3's and BO2's, you can equip your drones slots with LF - 2 lasers (250k credits, of course if you can afford so. But if you are doing fast in this 16 lf-3's, i won't recommend spending the credits on lf-2. You will know the best how fast you are going forward Same about the most expensive shield with credits.)

If you need some configurations about the ship, let me know. I can give you some battle/speed configs.

One more thing I forgot to mention. That rocket launcher from 15k uri, don't buy it with uri. Win it on auction, it's cheap.

 

Right, so I bought the rest of speed engines and have 6 7900's (the fastest speed Generators), do I equip them on the first configuration and the Shields on the second? Not enough slots for both Speed and Shields
Or what's the best way to have them equipped? Have 6 Flax's with LF2's at the moment.

 

I thought you may need some help with that configurations.

What is the best configuration for me, and the most standard is battle/speed configuration.

1st configuration
on ship:

• 6 LF3
• 6 BO2

on drones:

• full LF3

2nd configuration:
on ship:

• 6 LF3
• 6 speed engines

on drones:

• full BO2

The above was meant for a Leonov. If you have for example Goliath, it will still be the same (you will just need 15 LF3, BO2 and speed for the ship, or 10 LF3 15 BO2 15 speed for Aegis and so on).

You can twist this configurations if you want to, it doesn't mean what I have wrote as 1st config that needs to be 1st. I play like that, that's why I wrote it

Till you get this LF-3 and BO2 for the drones, you can equip it with the most expensive credits items.

The first configuration is used when you fight NPC or people, it's called battle configuration. The damage there is the highest you can deal. The other is when you are flying around, or need to run away from someone. Do not kill NPC with second, it will take x2 time than the first.

 

one more thing about skylab. if you are selling prom, or even using it on your lasers to add damage, and your storage starts running low just turn off your sep refinery for a couple hours. prom builds up quickly with sep turned off, but don't leave it off for too long. sep it too useful to turn production off for long, but since the production is so low it may benefit you more to turn it off for short periods of time.
