R-IC3 Ruined PvP hunting

Every time im trying to hunt i always get hit with these stupid rockets its alredy hard enough to find a player to kill because the servers are empty smh either darkorbit makes a desing thats immune to R-IC3 or im quiting . this game goes down hill each year ........

 

LOL, yup hate them too, but just wait until players run out of them, and then hunt.

 

On the other side, those who were fast enough to collect bunch of them and are hunting around use them to freeze the enemies. So, I guess you didn't had a lot of them. Don't worry, everyone will be over with them soon.

 

They are the single most annoying thing in the game I think. The animation doesn't even work right, ship's still frozen on the spot for a short amount of time after the ice cube has gone. I still bought 30,000 despite that because they are unlikely to come back on for a long time, like cbo ammo.

The ammo count being replaced with the speed counter on the ship window suggests they intend to introduce more things which mess with ship speeds next year. No doubt they will also be countered by EMP too so you have 1 counter viable for lots different weapons /abilities ...

 

It's just another thing to cover up exploits in the game. Makes you wonder why they even introduced it when there was already an item that slows down enemy ships...slowdown mine.

At least years ago it was a competition not who maxes there CCs first hence new players would keep playing back then. To be a target for years or go into debt just to compete. Then every thing they bring out to gives a new player a chance at surviving gets attacked like its a bad thing. Seems like the only ones that should be challenged is the new players. I feel they need to further help the new players better defend themselves with skill. (waiting for right moment to shoot freeze rocket) with how hard the UFEs are hitting these rockets should be a minor problem who it really hurts is the FEs and semi UFEs. like someone said earlier they wont be around alot so just run them dry and all is good

 

It is much easier to run away while using the freeze rocket, than to get a kill using it. Its great for the noobs.

 

I dont like the R-IC3 either but I am only semi UFE (as said above)... roll on the new problems

Is a good countermeasure when you are getting critical damage from UFE´s but it´s annoying when someone uses them on you lol. I believe that they introduced a good element to the actual fights. May them keep it on the store so we can buy it anytime.

The rocket makes FE and semi UFE be able to run from those 1 popping up players, if an UFE wants to pop up another user he must use it EXACTLY in the same point that the user uses it not before nor after, otherwise it will guarantee a sure escape

 

Then it makes people wonder, what is the attraction in getting UFE if most of the kills will get away regardless. NPC bashing, TA and JPA are all UFE is really good for anymore, general hunting in the maps is pointless.

I know timing comes into play, but Geese Lueese guys, just put the icy rocket next to 3030's on your hot keys....shoot it when you see it. and when you unfreeze first, make sure you're running straight at enemy, you won't lose ground. ( goood thing i boxed well over a thousand of them, seing as they annoy hunters that much ).

 

This rocket can only be countered by hunting in pairs of 2 or more, because only one of you can be shot with that rocket in their runaway, qne your buddy could kill him or shoot r-ic3 to the runner so that you can catch up.

 

I can't even begin to describe how annoying they're...its worse when 15 people are using them on you, simultaneously. But yeah, i can't wait till everyone's ( those that did not buy or box more than what was given out) ice rocket runs out. Or simply, till everyone gets over them.

 

I have used them in 4-2 while boxing both to get away, and to trap a strong UFE from escaping a group. I think they work fine as long as you use them properly. It's just a poor mans DCR, and no one complained about those ( not much at least).
Here's my 2 cents: Some ppl who spent Uri on DCR's (they are a lot more expensive), are just hating cus now there is a cheap ( or free) version.....well too bad.

Regardless, It is nice to turn players into cubes...can you say " 'I am Cubin' " - instead of 'I am hunting'
