Community ideas to keep new players in game

Everyone knows a player that started playing and quit. There is probably thousands of reasons lets hear some things that would make them want to continue in DO


Booty boxes - add 1 booty key to daily log in would at least make them feel like they got a chance to progress everyday

premium - set a uri amount to purchase premium through shop would give true FTP players a chance at premium. even if its a substandard premium like weekly

 

I support you for the booty key but premi for uri is not a good idea, big players would have it for free.

 

No on the premium idea, sure on the daily log in. The reason why I say no on the premium idea cause it was always suppose to be a pay item. 1 Month is only 6.50$ so it is not that pricey any how.

 

The first idea is good, the second isn't.

 

Instead of full premium why not one of the perks like: auto refining, shop discounts or quicker repair.

 

That seems like it would be a fair trade off. And add a cool down period so u can get this every single month but u can get it every so often.

 

Right, possibly allowing this would bring a yearning to keep or experience more of what the premium pack offers.

 

I just want my Permanent Trade Drone I bought 5 years ago with the Gold Goli. I dont like the newer 100 trades Drone.

 

Hey yea, a permanent trade drone would b cool.

 

This game needs more uri per npc kill. Gates that can be done at the lower lvs. More and better missions that give more uri then picking up a box. (100 uri) x2 . Different npcs now and then.

A prize for every lv reached and some common courtesy from those who have played for awhile....... that is help them.
It is a very unbalanced platform 1 or 4 strike ubers hunting lowers does not help. It is a PVP game but....... what the heck.

I don't know how to balance it, maybe bigger maps and faster lower lv ships ( I run a vengi 576 speed cnfig 1) it helps, but it took a long time getting it.

yeah i felt same about premium idea would be abused but had to put it out there

 

How about a PvP opt out tab with an active time and cool down time.

 

More events like we had coming up to christmass, there was plenty of events to suit all of us.

 

You are never safe from PvP in this game. (Except in Demil and x-1 maps, but that doesn't apply)

 

Oh yes they do, that never word gets toxic fast.

 

Port Hugging is for cowards (mostly )
x-1 maps are pretty self-explanatory, so don't need to tell you.
