jump chip

    agreed everyone on the game agrees that the jump chip makes the maps completely dead especially at certain times of day. just get rid of it no player on dark orbit likes it , and im sorry for suggesting it to darkorbit. lol

  3. I got a rope and no one on the other end - I agree - 'Hey, your not jumping, I am spinning my rope of Wrath.' BM will be a mess with too many hard hitters. That's why you have Spaceball and Sector Control along with TDM :cool:
     
  4. I don't like this suggestion because I jump chip everywhere :), to much work to fly anywhere and b-maps are scary ;).
     
  5. you can have 10 hangars so you basically can put 1 ship in everymap you need, i like this idea i think jump credits should become "warp credits" we don't need a jump cpu anymore

  7. I don't care really, I don't use Jump CPU that much. Either I sit in one map all day, or I forget about the fact that BP added a Jump CPU in and travel the whole way.

    If I am to look at this from a newcomers' perspective...

    "No, the jump chip should stay. We can't move as fast as the long time players, and you freaks pop us every time we are trying to get places."

    There we go, that's good, You'll just deprive the noobs and you get all the kills.

    I doubt the noobs will miss it that much since so few leave the lowers till they r strong enough.

    but you cant jump chip to certain maps anyway unless you are a certain level, so either way by the time your able to use the jump cpu for the maps intended, aka getting from lowers to uppers or the other way round, you will be strong enough and fast enough to avoid enemys in bmps anyway. the whole point of the game is Player vs Player and right now because of the CPU the player v player maps are not player v player maps are they, because nobody uses them.
     
  10. nah, i think we should keep it. So if you are in a clan, and in group and you see your clan mates getting attacked, you mean to tell me you are gonna want to wait to pass through several maps first to aid? nah, keep it. Jump chips dont make maps dead, the lack of players make it dead. If you jump chip, you will be in a diff map, playing in that map, so how is it that it makes it dead. The only thing tht a jump chip does do is create less players passing through the Bmaps.

  14. I've seen plenty of noob leos and piranhas in my upper maps, some with or without any drones ^^

    if the jump chip is removed it will make game play long and tedious and also there will be a load of ufe and advanced fe ships gathering in the battle maps to take advantage of weak players who are still novice and under equipped who have to pass the battle maps to get to upper maps. i personally think the jump chip should stay.
