CLO4K-XL CPU (50) Wont turn off

I got this cpu from a booty box or something months ago, and have been saving it. Yesterday I used normal cloak cpu (10 cloaks), and it functioned fine. Today however, if I am not cloaked, and I change to the config that holds the cpu, it automatically cloaks me. If I am in a battle and change to this config, then it still automatically cloaks me and then i immediately lose the cloak due to I am shooting someone or something already. I used up my 10 cloak CPU today this way, and didn't realize until at the end of it that this was what was happening.

I want to have my (50 cloak) cpu on ship for use, but it is now doing same thing.
The box holds focus regardless of adding it to a number in the slot bar, or not. How do you "un-click" the cpu once you click and get cloaked? I should not have to remove it from my ship every time I need to use it and not use it.

I have cleared my cache, and logged in and out of game, and it still is not fixed. Someone please help. Thanks ~ Lev GA5

 

I too have had this issue, i was told to keep it on both configs, but in the past that has never been a problem, just another glitch to have to sort out by DO....

 

If you want to be able to remove it from hot bar, push TAB or the little arrow on the right side of the bar to make the menu pop up.
Then you will be able to drag items in and out of bar.
The effect was placed, so players don't accidentally drag items out, we had that issue xD

I don't know if this is the same glitch or not but starting today, I used cloak worked fine, entered 4-4 cloaked shut off upon entering. Was in a battle, won. Switched configuration used cloak, worked. Switched back to battle configuration, cloaked turned off, switched back cloak was on. Did this several times with same results.

 

well came on this mourning configuration had changed from when I logged off, so, switched and engaged cloaked worked fin on both configurations. made 2 kills on 4-4. cloaked each time after. cloak worked fine, attacked someone who managed to escape to enemy cbs, they must have logged off while there. Tried cloak again, back to doing the same as yesterday quits working when configuration changes but change back and it's there. Tried several times with same result. went to 1-5 and 3-5 does the same thing on those maps also. something is funky.

I am having even more issues now besides the on/off/wont turn off cloak. Now although i have lasers in ever box on my ship in both configs, I go to shoot something and it says my ship is not shooting because there are no laser cannons on my ship. I tried removing them and adding them back, and it did not fix the problem. The cloak works normal a few times then does the weird stuff I originally posted here. I am perty sure it has taken cloaks away from me in the count, though not by my choice :-/

I put in a support ticket for this new development. At this point I can not play the game if I can not shoot stuff, ya know...

We are aware of the cloak issue, whereas you can be on one configuration and the ship is cloaked and on the other configuration it is not.
As for the Lasers not on your ship. This is a Visual glitch, you can shoot NPC & Players even when that pop up happens as it does not directly affect the lasers it is merely a visual pop up. This has also been reported for further investigation.
