Using a JoyStick on DarkOrbit

I don't see why Dark Orbit does not let us use Joysticks or game PC controllers on this game
it would be so much better to be able to fly a ship with a joystick with a joystick or game controller at least give us the option to do this.

Right now there is no option in settings to set up stick or controller

Being able to program a Stick or a controller on this game will be a Plus

 

A Browser-based game doesn't have the drivers for those. Downloadable clients can be equipped with those drivers, though.

 

I don't see the point...there is no up or down. Plus you will need more buttons on that stick.

oh man i got some combat flight simulator hardware that would b awesome for this game.

 

My joystick is a 360 Degree stick... and the point is ships don't fly with a mouse all ships and things that fly have a stick or some type of control bar not a mouse

 

How will you click on a target with a Aircraft Simulated JoyStick?

I played Flight simulator with a joystick. I would understand more if this was a FirstPersonFPSFlyingships game where you are in a 3D cockpit and all you have to do is adjust the pitch of the ship and then fire. But no, this game involves clicking.

Yeah Dark Orbit is not really suitable for joystick or game system controller.
