Ship and Formations Ideas!

Now as well know, we want something new to spice the game up a bit. We have had the package of 3 new ships which are all unique in their own way and brilliant if used correctly. Now for ships, I was thinking of just the one.

Basically it is a Hybrid of a Goliath and a Vengeance - It has a speed that cannot outrun a Vengeance, but can outrun a Goliath.

Now, the statistics of this ship:

I believe the Ship should be named - Dauntless or Warlock. (Any other suggestions are appreciated)

Speed - 340
Cargo - 1,200
Lasers - 12
Generators - 12
Hit points - 225,000/230,000
Extras - 2

Ability -

• Outrage: Increases Damage by 4% for 10 seconds - Decreases hit chance by 10%

That's one concept. Now, moving onto the formations concept:

I always thought that a swapped 'Pincer' formation would look pretty sweet, which gave me the idea of speed increase, because it looks slipstream, so I thought of the Gryphon formation. It could grant:

• A 5% speed increase
• A 10% decrease in accuracy - More momentum can cause the ship to wobble, due to speeds not recognized by the ship.

Another formation could be the Radius formation. We have had the limited edition 'Lance' design but that wasn't granted to all players. This formation would grant the player:

• 20% Increase in Blast Radius
• 30% Increase in Mine Damage

 

The Lance design was for anyone who could invite 25 people. It wasn't "Granted"

 

I know this, but I'm saying it's a highly effective formation that wasn't in reach for a majority of players.

 

Yup, who the heck has 25 gaming buddies. With those odds, 24 people are gonna be left out If you take the entire population % in account.

 

If I was younger, I could have easily made that 25.

 

About the design, i love every design, especially if it looks nice.
About gryphon, sure, even faster boxing, i agree ! about the radius, i dont agree this type of formation is too OP to even be out. Thats also why they decided to remove this dang formation so just few guys have it
