Well I really hope it is "handful of pennies"

 

What I am wondering is with all the multi-company clans floating around now which of the "points" are going to which company for the events, I mean if it is a MMO clan with VRU and EIC members is MMO getting the points or are they split up to each of the companies that the members belong to, this could get real interesting real fast to see if the MMC decide to split for the event...

 

It should be the players themselves, not clan.
MMO's points to MMO
EIC's to EIC
VRU's to VRU.
Clan has no effect.

 

Pretty much what KilerStreak said, multi-company clans won't matter especially now that individual players will get rewards.
I doubt many people will be doing the event thinking "I want my company to win" but will be doing it wanting to get themselves high up in the top 100 to get the best prize they can as an individual.

The company with the most active members will win. Then the more noobish people will move to that company for the rewards and it will just carry on and on, company based events are inherently unfair. Same reason VRU didn't win the old JPB for 3 or 4 years, it's just a simple numbers game that multi-company clans won't have an effect on.


If you are in the minority company, ignore the whole team aspect and play it as a solo event, no point even trying to get your own company first.

 

Wish the influence was more about gates and the minigates, not who can kill most NPC in x-2 map

you can hunt for the points too lol, its what im doing as npcs make me not wanna play when i kill em too much

 

Any news or eta on the big game optimization or DO going download Okapi? Since im still getting the same lag (yes only on DO) thats been here since they got rid of the ammo limit, seems like ill only really start playing again when they fix it somehow. Cus dying to noobs cus of lag aint fun lol.

However, no new news unfortunately. The downloadable client will not exist for a long, long time - there has been 0 change to the single source I have on it, all the text lines are still in German etc.
The optimization update is a bit of a wild guess too. The first signs of it appeared months and months ago and every so often more files are added or converted. So could happen in a couple weeks or a couple of months, the good news is it's been on test2 for over a week now and normally it would only be on there for a day or two. We will know it's soon when I can find the OA for it.

In the file name it is called "50-cent-boosterPack" so seems pretty clear that it will cost £0.50 / $0.50 / €0.50 etc.

I think, that BP. wants us all to stuff together to x-2 maps, and have some streuner, and lordakium tag.
It's probably too hard to implement system, witch gives more influence points if you kill bigger aliens. ​

 

It's not too hard to implement when they ran they pirate hunt points were awarded equal to the points the npcs are worth on the rank points tables could have used same system here

Morning everyone, it's been a while since I visited this thread. Doesn't it suck that they didn't do these sales around tax time? I'm just now going today for my taxes and looking at $1,200 at least. All I'm doing is buying tires and windshield wipers for my car, which should leave me about $1,000 for personal use. I definitely would've bought the Herc packages mentioned 17-19th this month. Not only that, I look forward to this new booster renew for $.50.

finally is LoW completely changed and its waiting to be implemented into a game. Good to know they working on brays also .
