As many are aware the Diplomacy system has some Major Flaws. It is not working as a method to unite the Companies, but as a Tool to destroy them.

    Non-Aggression Pacts (Yellow)
    Alliances (Green)
    War (Red)

The biggest problem is the fact that these are interchangeable between companies. So an MMO Clan can have an Alliance with EIC or VRU. (This works for other Companies as well) Thus letting their Alliance Clan roam the Company Maps, killing other members of the company while they are free to enjoy the game.

To make this system work maybe the Dev Team should consider the following:

    1. All Alliances are inner Company Only.

    This will stop the following:
    A. Multi-Company Alliances that Bully's Smaller clans
    B. Will Stop Enemy Clans from using CBS to pick off members of the company they are allied with to increase their stats.

    2. Wars - are Inner Company Only As Enemies are already Red
This will give the company the ability to resolve its inner company issues to the betterment of the company.

Something I would change about Company Wars. - The Payout!

Fighting an Enemy you get rewarded for the ship kill.
Fighting your own company- You get no Reward.

    A. This will make the wars about the real issue.
    B. This will stop larger clans from sending wars to boost their ranks/stats/ep and Uri.

This will encourage companies to work together to fight the enemy verses each other.
As a No payout system for company Wars, players will realize it is expensive to kill each other.

I am aware that this may not make all happy, but my thought is... I would rather see a Company grow together... then see a game die to Multi-Company UFE clans that ban together to destroy smaller clans as entertainment. Not even giving those smaller players a chance to grow and become competitive.

  2. Yea, I really like the "No Payout" system. Just like real life, it's useless to war people other than to make them back off a smaller clan or player.

  3. It's nice idea.Especially "Fighting your own company- You get no Reward." is really good.

If this idea is accepted, I estimate it'll be implemented in 2016 if ever.. (reason being: they said they'd redesign the clan page back in jan 2014... it's already 2015 now)

    Good idea though.

I think we are all experiencing the "Anarchy" that is slowly creeping into the game. I have always found it comical when a clan from one of the other two companies declare war since that's kinda the normal state. Like it or not the game has to have rules/parameters that are enforced.

Company Wars should be limited to one day, with a cool down period and should always come with a penalty to honor. Less than normal to start but still escalating.

Maybe a charge against the Clans funds to start a War which goes up each time you War against the same Clan. It will either get too expensive or clan members will self regulate.

I agree that Alliance should only be inner company.

I would also like to see an end to multi-company clans or at the very least that these players be marked as outlaws. I am tired of being jumped by my own company (Anarchy).

    The "WAY" we win matters.

  6. Declaring war on another company clan is a necessity when there are so many multi company clans these days. If you change companies you lose honor. If you join a clan that is in another company you should also lose honor.
In my opinion you should be considered dishonorable if you hide behind another companies clan tag and shoot members of your own company simply because that company's clan is stronger.
Make it fair. If they change companies take 50% of their honor and if they join a clan in another company do the same.
If you're eic, you should be in an eic clan, or pay the price of lost honor period!

  7. 'Anarchy' should be an achievement quest - hehe, but I have no idea to implement this...alas your own Company should be marked as Outlaws to make it work...just a suggestion.

I like the idea no payout higher punishment for popping your own co. would be nice also

  9. Adding on to this idea, with a nod to YellowSubmarine's comment, multicompany clans are having a highly negative affect on player satisfaction. How about modifying the game so that if you join an enemy company you are now an Outlaw... Since DO doesnt have the will to go after the problem any other way, let the players themselves sort it out but give us the means to do so without negative honor and such.

  10. I actually like this, and the NAP is only allowable for outside the company? or both company and non?

  11. I see no problem with cross-company NAPs ... it helps when you want to effectively work with a clan outside your company without misunderstanding. Some clans use it to protect their noobs in 5-3, etc. which is a good thing to shepherd newer players. I'd rather see the NAPs, which some clans disdain, than multicompany clans which are nothing but trouble. I know a lot of players who quit or took time off due to the neverending drama (not to mention other questionable things) these clans bring to the game.

  12. nice post

  13. Anyone that is in a Muti-Company should be marked as Outlaws. Mark my typing
