bug?

i don't know if it is a bug or a new feature, when i rep on spot or at port it writes in chat instead of using hotkeys, it is annoying when people is shooting you and you change config or use hotkeys and it doesn't work

i don't see a point why my cursor should be in chat after repped, why do i need to write in chat after dying? i need to run or fight please fix that

 

Are you sure you didn't click on chat? If you push Enter, sometimes it will put your cursor on chat.

 

it happens to me a lot of times, just turn off chat or just click somewhere in space and then use hotkeys

 

"pushes c key 22 times very fast and frantically", seconds later sees a lot of c's in the chat and figures out why the HECK the damn configuration would not change. - I feel ya, this happens a lot to me as well.

No its not a bug.If you press enter the chat box appears and it automatically places the cursor in the chat box.So during fights please close the chat or press the pointer on any other part of the space.

 

no i don't click on chat or press enter, i simply rep on spot or at portal after being popped and my cursor goes automatically in chat

i do that the problem is it goes in chat after the chat is fully loaded so it goes in chat when i lost my 5 seconds insta shield after i rep on spot

it doesn't happens during the fight just when i repair my ship on spot or portal after being popped or when i log in(in the last case i don't mind)

Please have your cursor placed some where else rather than close to the chat box while changing configuration.
