Artificially Intelligent Ships/100 Cloak Chip/Long Range CPU

  1. This game has been dying for so long now that theres hardly anyone on. Just a suggestion here, but maybe you guys can introduce AI ships into game maps to fight. Strength of those ships based on the number of the map. The higher the number the stronger the ship. Add a few hundred to each server maybe, to liven up the game. During SpaceBall Sector Control and Capture The Beacon you can double the amount in maps to make it more fun. 100 cloak chip and a long range CPU for lasers and rockets would also be nice.

    1: AI ships

    Like the idea seen it a few times on the old forums maybe once or twice here. Ranging from basic ships (no drones no bio) to FE (8 drones full bio). Ranging from ships in normal maps has a new npc to an event to new maps like the LoW gate. Has not happenned.

    2:100 cloak chip

    Please explain more is that like the number of cloaks or how effective it is?

    3: Long range CPU

    So your idea for helping the game is to kill the game.
     
  3. Yes to the AI ships, it can spice up the games.
    No to the 100 cloak and Long Range CPU, those will just kill the game. (Well, the CPU will, the cloaks will just make more people do that stupid "spamming cloak" in palla field to make it slightly harder to lock them.

    Range chip, what will it do?
    make all ammo long range or extend the range of all ammo?

    And he clearly states for it to increase the range of every rocket and lasers.

    No, making all ammo long range would not extend the range of the ammo that is already long range.
    Would this also extend the range of the long range ammo as well?
     
  7. Those "long range" rockets are the same range as lasers, it's making them longer.

    Not all rockets are long range, i think he got some splainin to do.
    What say ya, SUB-ZERO.
    Does it further boost long range with every other type of ammo or does it make all ammo just long range?

    What makes you think some rockets are longer range then others?

    R310 Short range rocket: cost 100 c. / PLT2620 Mid-range rocket: cost 500 c. / PLT2120 Long range rocket: cost 5 u. The pricing and description in the shop under the ammo tab.

    Don't mean what they are in game. In game they are have the same range.

    No, they are different.
    Go to an enemy that's sitting in a corner, and switch between the three rockets (Stay out of laser range, so you don't shoot). You'll notice the little red symbol that pops up. It changes with the three rockets.

    But but but they say longer range, what does that mean if it isn't in-game?
     
  14. Long range no, 100 cloak why not, AI ships sounds good. What if best is FE, and occasionally a random UFE will come along either damage or defense centered (bastion using herc and heart with boosters with like 1 mil shields only 1 config, and one with pincer enforcer full havoc blah blah)

    Range extender: So you're gonna autolock (without the auto) everyone?

    I say yes to all but only if the current long range ammo isn't increased any further.

    Everything but the long range ammo is fine by me. Maybe keep the 100 cloak CPU in the daily bid section?
