Technical Difficulties

I honestly just need some Tech help Whether its from players or Admins doesn't matter.

I have lost 2 Lives in Galaxy gates do to NPC's and pet stop moving; I am capable of moving obviously this is lag (Freezing), Long story short it causes my death.

I seem to be having 30-45 second lag spike in which I can do absolutely nothing but sit frozen; when they end It gives me a short 20 seconds of game time before again freezing, its an endless cycle.

My question is: Why am i having these lag spikes and, are they server side?

Java: Up to Date 11.31.2.13
Shockwave Flash: 16.0.0.305
Browser : FireFox 35.01

CPU Status:
Quad core 3.8 Ghz
RAM 16GB
Graphics EVGA NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980

CACHE CLEARED A MILLION TIMES....

Yes I've tried other browsers to no avail still lag still freezing.

PS: Internet Speed - 48 Mbps - Ping - 8ms

 

Update I live on the west coast Yet I can play Usa (East 3) with no freezing or lag what so ever only Usa(west) I have issues with...

 

Your service might be unstable then.
The speed test you did, it may have been ok at the time, but now, get on without jumping into gate. When you get a lag spike, check your internet speed.

I cannot go more than 2 minutes without freezing sessions on West server, I have been trying all Day approx 8 hours yet I was able to play On east 3 for over an hour with not a single bit of freezing or lagging for that matter, I never used to lag on Darkorbit period until this Tuesday.

Thank You .-Raijin-. for that link I have posted their as well I also read a lot of the comments there and it is simply re-assuring to know it may not be a computer or ISP problem as my CPU is bran new a very well equipped ....
