LF4s, Hercs and Havocs a Guaranteed win for x number of gates completed

I say no as well. hear me out. It seems like folks keep forgetting that these items are supposed to be RARE. Meaning not everyone will have em as easily. Implementing this will mean that everyone will have it and the RARITY of the item goes away. I understand the point and I do agree that it shouldnt take 10 gates for one item, but 3 chances? Nah thats too little.

 

They will continue being rare even with my suggestions considering the staggering few that even do these gates.

I have yet to speak to more than can be counted on one hand that have even started doing gates much less completed any of them.
I have seen people announcing their completion of gates but I noticed their lack of flax drones and Lf-2 fire.
I for one would appreciate getting these items as a reward for completing a gate or have the option to sacrifice the reward for these items instead since chance is a suckers game and achievement should be optional.

 

I hear ya, but still, I have noticed as the years have gone by, that players want more and more things sorta handed to them. Sell LF4s here, Sell hercs tthere, sell havoc please. Bid on LF4s etc. I for one spent tireless hours and money on this game to get my havocs, hercs and lf4s. And I really didnt complain much because I knew that its just a mere chance that i may or may not get it. But I also understand that less and less people play, some because they cannot keep up with the UFE's in the game, lack of new maps and npcs. Some are just down right lazy and dont wanna work hard on their acct. So I understand that its necessary to ease the frustration of players by making the items a little more attainable after completion. But 3 completions are too little. I dont mind everyone being ufe, that way the battles are more fun, but I just dont want it to be too easy. Waht about every 5 completions you are guaranteed the item? Maybe even 4.

 

how much money does it cost to get to ufe ?.
lets just do this on my idea, just as a rough example on costs based on a prem player with rebate.

1lf4 guaranteed every 2 kappas
90 kappas on its own must be around £700 uk money. ( I judge this on putting £70 on mhh and opening around 7 kappas and using uri reward to open another 2 kappas= 9 kappas for every £70 )

Drone designs, allowing the win for every 3 gates:
The hercs, 10 herc drone designs at 1 herc for every 3 gates is equal to 30 gates, again, thats a rough estimate of around £280 on mhh, ( i judge that amount on £70 on mhh and opening and using uri for completing 7 or 8 gates )

then the havocs, same again 3 gates per guaranteed win (another 30 gates) and around £280 for that set of drone designs.

That's £1260 just there, on drone designs and lf4s doing it the way i suggested, not to mention all the other items which are needed to allow good game play plus prem membership costs etc etc... .

And some people think that my idea is too easy and generous. !

no wonder people are leaving the game or walking away from it when they see the costs.!

so do you think that around £280 for full hercs is too cheap.? or would £420 be better for someone to pay.?

 

Im not going by the cost, because you can actually get palladium on top of uri to create gates. Im just saying that for every three completions was a little. BUt then again, Im speaking from the standpoint of a player who has killed himself in this game to attain those items and I never complained about it because I knew its value and I didnt mind. Even though I did get aggravated when I didnt get something. But eh, if it brings players back, then why not.

 

Good idea. I recall something similar to this was suggested about the saturn design, but it got turned down.
(something like 10 kronos should give one for certain was what the guy was suggesting)
Any thoughts about that?

 

the amount of gates required for the priviledge of doing the kronos gate, would be quite expensive and therefore the kronos gate is very rare to do. i was lucky and got a saturn design on my first attempt. 10 kronos is over the top. its just another ship design, with its own ability.

 

Solace is smexier anyways. As for the thingy about money needed I'll say two things. Premium. Rebate. Chop chop. Prices cut. Add galaxy gate % off day that's 45% off. That's basically half the money needed now.

 

Money is still needed for those Premium rebates....right?
That's like saying buy the odds and you can win the lotto, not everyone has 15 million to one odds money. The same notion applies here.

 

But if you're buying gates essentially costing $100's of dollars I think you'll be able to afford the less than $40 needed for prem-rebate package
