  1. Clan Battle Stations were a great addition to DarkOrbit, it keeps the game interesting and everybody can participate and benefit from them. Unfortunately after awhile, they can get tedious to build and protect without many benefits or strategy. I think that new modules will make the CBS's even more popular and keep people interested.
Some new modules that could be added are as follows:

    URI-BO:
Acts the same way that the damage booster works, the clan will benefit from 1-10% extra uridium gained from bonus boxes and NPC kills on the map that the booster is installed on.

    CRE-BO:
The credit booster would act the same way EP/Honor modules work, the credits earned on any map will be boosted 1-10% by this module with a maximum stacking bonus of 50%.

    URI-CO:
This module will generate uridium that will be distributed to clan members based on how long they're on while this module is installed. A fully upgraded module could produce maybe 6,000 uridium an hour (just throwing numbers out there) that will be given to all members that are on. Every 10 minutes 1,000 is evenly distributed among the members that are on.

    CRE-CO:
Functions the same way the uridium collecting module does, but collects credits instead. A valid number for a fully upgraded credit collector might be 12,000,000 an hour, or 2,000,000 distributed every 10 minutes.
Due to the uridium modules being more sought after, I would think it should be only fitting that the uridium modules be repaired with uridium instead of credits.

I think that these new features will add a new twist to CBS's and add a little bit of strategy since more modules will be available to install, but still only 8 modules will be able to be installed at any one time.
Both positive and negative feedback is expected and welcomed, let me know what everybody thinks.

  2. I can see this encouraging clannies to stay on... But can also see this being abused. The credit give out is a bit high unless it's split, the uri one makes me think screw cubing, the uri booster makes me think eeeey let's box away from cbs leaving it unprotected. That and with these modules there's hardly any room to defend the cbs. So how would this work? Could you explain a little more about the distribution?

  3. Yes FooJub, you are right that this could be abused. The credit collector, along with the uridium collector, would evenly distribute its earnings every 10 minutes to the clan members that are currently on. Just like the EP/Honor boosters, it takes quite a few hours to achieve 100% power. For example the uridium collector would take 6 hours to become 100% effective. One hour after its been installed it will be 16.7% effective, and collect 1,000 uridium per hour (167 uridium per 10 minutes). After the second hour it will be at 33.3% effectiveness and will collect 2,000 uridium per hour (333 uridium per 10 minutes), etc. At the sixth hour it will be 100% boosted up and will collect the full 6,000 uridium per hour (1,000 uridium per 10 minutes). The uridium collected will be distributed evenly among the players from the collectors owning clan that are currently online.
You're very right about not many spaces left to defend the CBS with FooJub, that is more or less the point, it will take more planning, more risks/rewards to take into account than before. I think that the uridium collector should be at least 5,000 uridium to repair, just so people don't just put them on without thinking about the loss of defense. Just in case I haven't already said this, the collectors and boosters would be just like the Honor and EP boosters, only one could be equipped at a time.
If I failed to explain something, tell me and I will do so.
    Thanks for the feedback!

  4. Aye, welcome, thank you for clarification. This does bring up another matter though - with the cbs being so lightly defended if at all with these modules, and with the deflector only lasting so long, I don't see how these boosters could reach 100% potency unless it was owned by a well organized and UFE clan

  5. CBS is like 'babysitting'

  6. Valid point sir, but that is more or less the objective of these new modules, the clan would have to choose if they wanted to take a chance of less defense/more reward and hope that they can hold it long enough to make losing it and repairing it worth it. They could install it for an hour but that would never be worth the uridium that it would cost to repair the module. I was hoping that this risk/reward would add a need to organize a clan like you said FooJub.

  7. Sounds like a good trade off. Lol
