How many Cubikons for Drones Level 5-6

Title. How many cubikons will it take me to get my drones back up to level 6?

 

Depends on ship. In a pnut? Like 2-3 but I need your current ship

I believe FooJubIsBack2 is correct however i am not 100% certain myself. The information that we have on drone level points is quite out dated and does not include any of the newer NPC's. However in a nutshell, the points that you get depend on two things;

- What your ship is (a small ship will get more points than a bigger ship)
- What your are destroying (the stronger the enemy is, the more points you get)

Unfortunately the Cubikon has the added complication, in that it is a shared NPC and therefore that may affect the points you get. Therefore the only way you can find out how many points you get in the ship you use, would be to try and destroy a Cubikon and see whether there is any change in the number of points needed for level 6.

I'm thinking:
Kristallon earns 18 by goli
Boss-Kristallon ears 72 by goli x4
I think Cubikon would earn the same as BBK
3200+- /72 = +-50 cubs I think.

Assuming nothing has changed since the last time I worked these out (Dec 2013), the following chart should be accurate:



ALL other NPC classes (including Boss/Uber versions) will give you 10 pts regardless of ship type.

The amount for a Cubikon doesn't split between the ships attacking it - if you want to get the drone points, then you need to get the ranking kill (or the "red-lock" kill).
You need 1,600 points to go from a Level 5 Drone to a Level 6, so in a Goliath you'd need 45 Cubes. Personally, I'd recommend going for Kristallins, Boss Kristallins, and Kristallons instead - less effort for guaranteed rewards, and you should get the points just as fast.

this is probably the quickest way to lvl drones, but sometimes i use a leo and 2x some sibs, or devo. doesn't take long and leo's don't use as much ammo or updates because of it's lowers bonus.
