Honor System 100% Broken

I haven't killed any of my company or company pets for days now. Last time i did i lost 400k... over 3 days ago.

Now i kill a war and lost 800k honor? I'm even an outlaw now... I want my honor back, so tired of this.

Now im -1.6mil because i miss locked a god damn pet while doing the mission. If my honor isn't given back i'm quitting. This is ridiculous.

Why do you even have your negative honor counter at 1.6 mill???

 

Games broken... I lose honor just for defending myself. Then i miss lock those stupid pets with no hp and lose more honor. Besides that, my honor counter hasn't gone down, and i'm not the only person with this issue. So i am asking an admin who cares about players to help me, because our oh so "loved" and "favored" Kara from support is not doing her job.

lol dream ive had same problem, i popped some1 in self defense and lost 25k which i didnt mind, then 2 days later i lost 400k out of the blue for a kill on some1 i never even shot lol

 

Same issue here, I'm staying out of large fights because I keep shooting down pets when trying to lock a cloaker. granted, i'm under a million negative, but I think if its not fixed it will double to higher numbers.

 

yeah i got a kill on a dude i never shot last week, dude died while i was on death screen from mmo jumping my spear.

You need a battle buddy to help shoo the company members away so you don't pop them...

 

yeah the honor system is broken it strated on hitac people picking up there own cargo seen a few people getting outlaw because of it but it don't effect everyone

 

Well... I see 3-4 outlaws a map in my company. Had 3 of them on my CBS last night lol.

 

Over the past few days, since the new client was released I've notice many more "outlaw" players. More, way more than normal. There must be an issue at hand that needs to be addressed by the game Admins.

Should I say immediately?

i just want to share with u guys my last outlaw honor. theres no reason to leave this game if i could get back my honor i bet everybody can, and in fact, i did, so just be patient. Also i dont think theres any problem with the negative honor system, you just have to watch how many honor you lose for every ship (or pet)of the same company you kill or even gray cargo boxes.

New or old players. It is common for a noob to get outlaw status upon first starting to play due to the fact that the "cargo that is not yours" is checked at the start. Plus DO is not forth coming about how to get rid of the status, except through the forums, but who knows that when they first start playing. Veterans end up with it due to the fact that players sneak in under the cubes and get popped due to kami. Its a dirty tactic that would take time to investigate to see if the player did it intentionally or not.

 

how do they get damaged from same companies kami i've never taken damage unless they targeted me in the first place then the kami hits me but never has it hit me if my same company kami on top of me but locked on an alien. Now if i shoot them it will but they should get + honor for that.

Test it out. I don't like to use kami myself so it has not affected me. I have only gotten kami to go off in gates, and my noob self ends up popping trying to get it to work. However, lots of my friends have been victims of that trick, that I can attest too. Also, I have taken Kami damage while helping them, and my pet is forever repping from it. Normally, my buddies will announce the kami first so there is time to back away but its not an exact science. But like I said, test it for yourself. Its a dirty trick that happens to them several cubes in a row until they just stop and go work off the negative.

I feel for the OP as I have had to work off negative honor for picking up others cargo boxes. I was an outlaw for 6 months until I got into the forums, finally, and started reading up on the game. Could not figure out why my entire company kept shooting me but it became clear. I have posted before that DO should put something in the beginning letting players know to read up on the DO BIBLE so they would know about things of this nature.

I am currently looking into the honor issues that you have been reporting recently, however i would like to thank you for your post today since i believe it may have refined my investigations into these issues you've been having.

I have done a little looking around and you do not appear to be alone, with the main issue i believe to be with the Friendly Kill Counter not reducing as it should be, reportedly. So firstly thank you for reporting this update, and whilst i try to dig deeper into the issue, can i ask whether you killed a member you were at war with and received negative honor, or did i misread that part?

He was war. And my base even shot at him before i did. I even have 2 Mails from him asking why we have war.

 

The kami issue was taken care of long ago. That no longer occurs, unless it happens to be back.

The only reason i would quit, is because i have no honor left on my ship, and i can't play with fear of every dope who leaves out their pet with no pet getting in the way, and me using self defense just to lose honor. And with the system not reducing honor, i can't exactly just go out and shoot stuff. Too many people do cross company clans on my server, there's numerous blocks as well, so i shoot an EIC and a VRU shoots me and i kill the vru i lose honor...

 

the kami glitch is there i got kami'd by a vru - i was clanless and he didnt shoot me he got hit and the kami flew at me and i took full damage

 

oh well i don't damage my company so i guess you should have that looked into. I Take that back nearly popped my own company with kami.
