Vengeance skill design (Pare)

  1. So we have hp damaging and shield damaging designs for the goliath.
    My idea is to have something for the vengeance that will be both effective and not impossible to counter with available items in the game.

    So to "Pare" means to reduce (something) in size, extent, quantity, or number, usually in a number of small successive stages.

    It will function like the Venom design but dmg shields instead of hp, and to make it actually worth having the dmg would be doubled and can not be emp`d off, similar to the diminish-er but wont be as effective so its not the next "superpower" but handy with decent config sets.

    Also this design will give a 10% shield boost.Skill starts dmg at 1,920 and increases dmg by 300 every second so will be 1,920> 2,220>2,520 and so on.But this skill only last 45 seconds.With a cool down of 15 minutes.

  2. I'm going to have to ask you to rephrase your idea a bit. I don't quite get what your trying to suggest here but it seems like a static (non-emp'able) based Shield targetting vengi design with a passive 10% shield?
     
  3. its just a shield vengi with a skill that eats away the targets shields.Similar to the venom eating hp.

  4. but with double dmg, no thank you, 50k dmg doubled that does extra to my shields? no, maybe a 10% increase, that makes since, and its should still have a fall point, ie instead of an emp disabling the whole design, it takes away the shield dmg boost.

Well the dimisher has 50% dmg increase to shields and you cant emp it since the 50% boost only applies to shields.Granted you have to shoot the target with ammo other than sab but 5 seconds of them on you is more dmg than my idea for this vengi, vengi is hit and run...This may make it more enjoyable for vengi pilots to hit shield tanked players(doesnt mean they are now able to destroy anyone) Just means more room for options in pvp for both the attacker and defender as we already have what is needed to defend against my idea.

  6. they already have plenty of options, this to me is more of a way to get rid of the skill required to fly a vengi.

    I don't think we do need this thing, as I've already said in other thread vengy is enough powerful now.. the golden one :D. And I'm assuming that the Pusat will come(whenever it does).. it's enough
     
  8. Lightning is ok but having different options is fun.We need more ways to be different from one another, in the configs we use and what designs we use with them.

  10. Yup, I like this idea. Why not? I think Vengeances need more designs like this.

    Why should only Goliath have skills to "eat" away HP, or do huge damage on shields? :)

    +1 from me, definitely.

    Having Vengeance with shield boost and having an ability to damage more enemy shield, if this ship someday gets live, I will buy it :)

    PS. Doubled damage needs to be thinked of, maybe not that much boost. Maybe 60% more damage?

  11. I can crunch more numbers but I dont think it can work if it does more dmg than the dimisnher...And thanks for stopping by ;)

    And by 60% more dmg do you mean more dmg that the skill does to shields?
     
  12. Diminsher does 50% more damage to the shields, right? So I thought it may be not so good to be 100% more damage on this design, but maybe 60%-70% more damage on shields. I was thinking that 100% more damage is a bit too much. :)

    Or maybe I didn't understood well the point of the design. We have some skill that is like the Venom, but takes out shield? Or you have imagined it like a mixture between Venom and Diminisher? Can you please explain me better how the skill will work?

  13. Its like a venom skill but only damages shields, so instead of getting 1.500...1,800 2,100 and so on going to hp it goes to shields

    Maybe Vengeance will be finally used for farming NPC, this skill can be really good against NPC with high shield. Cooldown 15 minutes, I guess?
