Rocket Damage Broken

  1. Okay guys i dont know what the heck is going on! Last night me and a friend of mine were testing rocket damage and I was hitting him with plt 3030 and i have my rocket fusion maxed out while he only has 1 pp in his and neither of us were using drones to enhance our rockets. He hit the same as me and even more than me. We both had sep on our rockets and were both using precision targeter. He still hit more than me and even the same as me! Is this a joke! How do you guys calculate us putting our money into this stupid pilot bio and all this stuff if it doesnt even make a difference? This needs to be fixed.

    Drones don't increase rocket damage as far as i know, but boosters do, so maybe he had a couple of boosters.
    Also, there is a miss rate, as the rockets won't shoot always their full damage, so maybe you were just unlucky and your rockets didn't want to shoot closer to thei full potential. PLT-3030 with seprom will shoot aproximately 10k damage.

    I haven't noticed this with rockets, but have seen my lazers hit differently at different times by the 1 or 2Ks ( times equal when I play that day) I sure u meant drone designs right.
     
  4. Yeah same here, did some test damage tonight. to calculate laser misses. first laser volley hit 80k, then miss, another miss and 58k
    I then activated my Aim cpu 2 the one that makes it 50% less likely lasers will miss. First volley missed lol, second volley hit 59k, third volley missed and fourth volley i hit 63k. So not only did the aim cpu not help the misses but i did less damage. I also did more damage in standard formation tonight than i did in pincer by an average of 5 to 10k. So that was about an hours worth of testing and those numbers didn't change for the better all night. so aim cpu doesnt work, pincer causes less damage than standard formation. and you hit well under what you suppose to way to many times. If my ship can do 80k x4 then it should hit 78 to 80k more than 1 out of 5 shots

  5. I haven't noticed about the rocket damage, but I do noticed that my lasers miss a lot now. Don't know what causes this, but 2 out of 3 shots are miss, really. That never happened before the code refactoring or something.
     
  6. When I say drones im talking about using things such as arrow formation or chevron to increase damage to your rockets. My laser damage has went down also ive noticed. I was hitting around 64k with just sep on my lasers no boosters and now im barely even making 58k. I dont know what is going on but the damage is continuously decreasing. My rockets were hitting almost everytime and me and him were the same distance from each other not moving at all and I was hitting less than him! What Im saying is okay if I have my bio full where its supposed to increase all this damage and his isnt even halfway full why is he hitting the same as me with the same rockets? It doesnt add up
