General Advice

Since I'm starting to level up a bit more, I've been inclined to spend some money on DarkOrbit and get myself some new gear for my ship, however I'm kind of stumped on what to do at the moment. Currently I find myself piloting a Goliath, my generators are all as I'd like them to be however I'm lacking seven LF-3 laser cannons until I max out with them. Aside from this I have various different extras to help me out and I only have three Iris drones at the moment, the trio are equipped with LF-2 laser cannons: back to the point of spending, I was unsure whether I should hang around and wait for a Mega Happy Hour or purchase the Daredevil starter pack. I was going to go with the starter pack simply because it comes with fifteen LF-3 laser cannons and a tonne of other miscellaneous gear.
Otherwise I could wait for the offers to come up and purchase Uridium packages and then get some LF-3 cannons... Any advice?

My advice would just be to spend uridium on things that you cant get out of the auction E.G. gates as things like IRIS and LF3'S you can get out the auction and a way to get credits is to lv up your skylab then send your skylab over to yuor ship then sell the prom from your skylab.

As of late that's what I've been doing, currently my Skylab is being leveled up and upgraded as much as possible. This morning I peaked a good balance in the levels of each collector and refinery so I'm starting to actually sell Promerium on a regular basis. I often try and bid on the LF-3 laser cannons and Iris drones on the auction but I usually get outbid so I end up splashing Uridium when I have it to compensate

ok not sure what server you are on but i would never put uri on IRIS (on GB1 they usally go for around 15mill creds) then you can work it out as you may be better off to buy the uri then and put some uri on LF3'S/BO2'S (uri shield gens) and then put some on other things .

the daredevil starter pack gets about 300kuri worth of stuff that is going to probaly be expensive in auction (300k= LF3'S BO2'S SPEED GENS'S)

OR in MHH £15.00 would get you 180k uri BUT you would be able to spend it on what ever you wanted as some of those things in the daredevil starter pack you can probaly pick up from auction quite cheeply...

BUT if u just wanted to quickly get up to near FE then that daredevil pack could be a decent idea BUT like i said the best way is to get it from the auction...

 

Wise words indeed, I think I'm going to be patient for now and work with the Skylab and go for auction bidding on the remainder of the gear I need. Though when the time comes I'll most likely take full advantage of the Mega Happy Hour and spam Galaxy Gates and whatnot. It's been good to hear your opinion and feedback on the matter! allays remember how hard uri is to earn so if u can buy something with credits is best to bid on it with creds.
