K so the top 10 get the surgeon goli, but will you guys monitor pushing? already on my server i have noticed some people doing it? i wont be fair for the rest of us

 

DO is making it to where if you get shot down or shoot someone down too many times, say Bye to your EP and honor and your ship for a time frame. With the amount of players on the servers, you don't really have a chance not to push or be pushed. This "pushing" system needs to be changed before DO has no players left.

 

Would like to think so, although the whole event is a bit of a joke, the cost of the ammo is insane and I would have thought that the quest rewards or event boxes would contain at least some of the new ammo or Serim CPU :/

Then again, if they can't even bring back Scoremageddon due to pushing then hopes aren't too high for this event where so far, pushing is a buge problem.

People can push and get loads of points, by the time they get banned for a month, they probs be sure to finish top 10. and specially if your account is low level, you wont lose much ep or honor, but you get that goli for free

 

the problem with pushing is that 1st offense is 30 days, 30% ep and honor reduction, 2nd offense is 60 days and 60% ep and honor reduction, and the 3rd offense is bye bye account. If DO continues to bring out these types of events there will be no one left on the servers, the Hitac was like this, the Demander was like this and now with this event it will be just 1 more way to slam ALL players with a pushing violation since there are not a lot of people playing on most servers anymore...

 

So true, I am so disappointed by this event. UFE's smash lower players even more now. And yes, pushing happens too. They just create new accounts and kill them constantly..

 

Yeh, people will just make new accounts , or use noob accounts who have never been banned for pushing, and then just push points till they banned, to a noob acc, 30% ep and honor isnt much

Although the script for pushing these days has somewhat changed (see >>HERE<<), i would like to point out that we the moderating team will be attempting to monitor all pushing activities on the English based servers. Any players who we feel have acted suspiciously will then be reported higher for further investigations and any action taken will then be decided.

Hopefully by proactively monitoring the rankings throughout the event, we will be able to detect any players who may be attempting to push kills in order to get themselves into the lucrative top 10 position.

Since we are talking about pushing here, i would quickly like to mention the latest >>Dev Blog<< which has outlined some ideas and is looking on feedback regarding the issue of PvP pushing.
