[TI] P.E.T collecting palla

Lately I have noticed my pet is quit slow when collecting palla, other's pet collect palla faster than mine .. even when I'm in spear (speed 588) and the other pet belongs to an idle citadel ..
it is very annoying, I have tested it with different ships ( aegis, veng and spear ) and my pet has been ALWAYS slower for the past 3 weeks or so, before that I had no problem.
Of course my auto recourse collected is level 3, and I have 2 radar protocols (level 3 as well).
I tried to use collector level 2 and 1.. just in case if its related, but had the same result.

 

You are not alone in this issue. I am on US West, and have 6 or 7 radar depending on the ship and it may not go get any at all while I am picking it up.

 

I'm not talking about range .. my problem with speed ...

 

There is a major speed issue going on right now and not only with the pet. You can test it when trying to get away from what should be a slower ship. I use spear or the pusat all the time and for some odd reason, am getting caught by slower ships. I am maxed out to 588 and have serious issues getting away from goli's and other vengis, not talking about the lightning. The pet is affected as well, like you say. Unfortunately in the pally map, your pet can get twisted up in the other pets and miss out on getting pally. I am not sure how that happens but my solution for that is always to recall the pet and start it again. Dont' get disgruntled though. All these changes are just bogging us down.

While that is a thought, and I have been infected and caught a lot, Turkish Server, its not the case in US West. Have a good doctor there.

 

Still I don't think this is the same issue, 1st reason because citadel's pet(idle) faster that spear's !? if this is a speed bug then I certainly would have noticed it .. but whatever the cause is, it is only affecting the pet, my ship is fast as it should be

And for how long do I have to wait to get an OFFICIAL answer ?

I suffer from this problem since more than a month now, and reported it since more than one week and no assistance... great forum ...

When you talk about speed, are you referring to the speed of the PET moving between resources, or are you referring to the time it takes for the PET to collect the actual resource?

It is the time required to collect resources.

My pet is collecting palla with another pet, my pet reaches the next palla before the other pet ... result :
"The resources are already being gathered.
Collection canceled."
Until I call my pet off or they separate.

May i ask whether you are still experiencing this issue? Personally to me this sounds more like a lag issue rather than an in-game bug. The pets can be quite susceptible to game lag, for example if you are chasing a player with their pet out and you shoot at it but it doesn't take damage.

sorry for the late replay, but I gave up on the forum and stopped colleting palla completly, I mean what is the point if I have pusat with wheel formation and idle citadel's pet collects palla faster than mine ?
It is not a lag issue, because I did not have lag at the TIMES I tested it( more than 5 times, each time around 5-10 minutes).
Probably it has something to do with my pet level, but I don't really care anymore

 

I have had similar problems... however it seams to be on and off. some times I can run from a slower ship and out run it while other times I am actually caught after being ahead of it for a while. than there are times I am chasing someone in a golie in a pusat and they manage to outrun me....

And as far as the pet is concerned I have seen it run slower at times when it should be running faster.

 

As presviously mentioned by Ddraig, this sounds more like a lag issue than an actual in game issue.

I would ask does the OP have any further questions on this topic?
