Race Against Time

I guess there is glitch in Mission that tells you to Kill One Gygerim, because I did so. I killed Gygerim, I have also got Achievement of killing gygerim(White-coated Demigod), But I didn't get kill of that Gygerim. Please kindly look for this.

 

They make us suffer and fight for the first lock just like for the herc quests...

 

Hmmmm, that's strange i killed 1 Gygerim and recieved the White-coated Demigod title also finished the mission
But i was doing it with 6 people of my clan mates and i told my clan mates to kill any other company that tries to pop Gygerim

Unfortunately you do have to have the red lock on that to get the credit for the kill, this is similar to the demeanor freighter.

thats such a joke, it takes forever to get one to spawn and u gotta have a red lock, thats bull. it takes alot of people alot of time to kill one let alone get 2k lil ones killed for it to spawn, another great failure DO

 

Is there anything like if memeber of one company killing gygerthralls then Gygerim will spawn only into that company's map(e.g. If big number of players from MMO are killing Gygerthralls then Gygerim will spawn only in 4-1?)? Also I agree With KIDZ. This is a Real Failure for darkorbit.

 

One person gets lock for the Gygerim and you all put a daily quest in for it? That is the dumbest thing I've heard in a long, long, long time. What utter garbage. Take that quest and go fly off into the rad zone

 

This seems to be a new trend with DO events. Get you on board and actually have some decent rewards in the very beginning and then throw one in that is nearly impossible. Like with the freighter, you not only have to get the red lock, you have to KEEP the lock, which can be difficult because, at least with the freighter, the lock bounced all over the place.

It's almost like someone in accounting is saying "don't you dare give out those rewards, we have no idea how giving out those achievements will affect our bottom line but we can't risk it -- and you coders, it's going to come out of your paycheck".

Here's an idea.... when the countdown is done, make the thing appear in 4-1 AND 4-2 AND 4-3 AND 4-4 AND 4-5 all at the same time. That would at least put a few more out there.

Or, better idea, make the quest complete like the achievement where you don't have to have the red lock.

Darkorbit has became a business only..., they don't worry about players. Just make the quest complete like the achievement where you don't have to have the red lock. If it is not possible then I should E-mail the support. This thread will be open untill I get answer.​

 

Lol... you obviously haven't dealt with support.... I really wish Astraea was support - Astraea is awesome.

This quest should be redone I spent an hour shooting the little ones to get the boss to come out its not worth the time. The boss comes and you lose the lock instantly you have to be very lucky to keep it. I guess one quest out of the full event of quests will not be completed by bunch of people.

AFTER THIS REPLY I WAS HOPING THERE WILL BE SOME CHANGE IN GAME VERY SOON, BUT BOARD HAVE DECIDED NOT TO REPLY.

 

You really have to realize that this is the weekend and support is not all at work. That said, there is not much a forum mod could tell you until they have talked to support themselves and it is not that easy for them to get answers either, especially on the weekend.

 

Now DO puts out a THREE gygerim daily quest? LMAO what a bunch of rubes. You guys don't learn anything do you?

The Gygerim Quests are not as hard as they may seem...myself and about 4 other Samz were able to do 3 Gygerim in 3 hours whilst watching our CBS for Prime time...

If you can find 4 people to group up with the little gytheralls go pretty quick and if anyone in your outfit gets a lock on the Gygerim first you automatically get counted for red lock as well...

I didnt even bothered about that quest, when gygerim spawn, I go there and hunt down enemies best way to finish my pvp missions, thanks DO for making this gygerim quest
